Reserves: NUFC 1-0 Blackburn

Andy Carroll’s goal 20 minutes from time helped United to add another game to their unbeaten home Reserve League run, which now stretches for 18 games, and leaves us 2nd in the table just a point behind leaders Manchester United, as Blackburn were seen off 1-0 at Kingston Park last night.

Archie’s Alternative Assessment - A Charlton Charade

It’s amazing that within 24 hours of the Charlton game Newcastle have been linked with no fewer than 9 players. West Ham are obviously just going to surrender and will probably strike a deal with the FA agreeing to go straight into the Championship in November. Ferdinand, Ashton and Gabbidon have apparently already signed for us.
