well your official codebreaker andy, what was the light saying?
I dunno. Educated guess says it couldn't be normal morse code, otherwise people would have translated it by now.

A good example of it by the way, is about 16:50 into the episode. Henry actually blatantly looks towards the light in the armory as it flickers, then turns back and continues conversation with locke.

God my head hurts. I've spent the last 30 mints on LOSTpedia reading everything possible and all the theories and important bits on the others, desmond, radzinski and everything just so that from now on I know I haven't missed anything.

What do you mean "[/andy]"?
I'll have you know that I don't NEED to read lostpedia to fill me in, I just absorb it all when I watch it

No comment. Damon did say the title was "A Tale of Two Cities," and that hasn't changed. But fans need to approach any spoilers with skeptical minds. Until the episode actually airs, no one will know whose flashbacks it will be. I know of the spoilers you referenced, and all I can say is be skeptical of them.

I want to see if this underwater DHARMA station exists or not "The Flame". Apparently Dr. Marvin Candle/Mark Wickmund could be there blueeek.gif

They've bought underwater cages for season 3, and Damon and Carlton didn't exactly dismiss the idea at comic-con, so I'd say there's a fair chance of there being an underwater hatch.

Just realized that Amazon is selling the whole of season 2. The description says the DVDs include unaired flashback, secret of the hatch, deleted scenes....wonder if its worth a buy. What do you guys think? will they be substantially different from what has been shown so far?

The boxset for season one was fantastic content wise, so yeah it'll be worth buying.
If the two commentaries by Lindelof and Cuse are even half as entertaining as their podcasts, it'll be worth paying the money for them alone.

She knew he was on the island ("if you have enough money and determination, you can find anybody"), she knew the island had magnetic properties, so she hired the snowstation guys to search for electromagnetic anomalies in order to find the island/him.

So... More from the lost experience. This is a video which has been fragmented over the internet in 70 different pieces. 36 of them have so far been found and put together:

i've just thought that if true this could mean (and probably does mean) that the others are controlling the food drops and scheduled lockdowns. it also adds weight to the henry- redzinski theory.

What do you guys think of these connections? Rewatching season 1 (again) amid rumours of these connections i picked up on some noteable words in flashbacks.
Christian Shepard being Claire's father.
- In "raised by another," (1x10) during claire's fight with her boyfriend her boyfriend mutters something about "father abandonment" issues.
-Christian Shepard was in Australia (season 2) trying to visit his Australian daughter. However, he was unsuccessful.
Locke's father being the "real" Sawyer.
In "Dues ex Machina" (1x19), after Locke comes out of surgery he once again sees his mother. She tells him that "it had to be your (Locke's) idea." This mirrors the phrase that Sawyer says in his flashback from "confidence man" (1x8) where he tells his associate that the con must be "the pretty woman's idea."
Thoughts?

The Locke-Sawyer one was confirmed somewhere I think. Or at least before that episode there was a quote that said something along the lines that we would find out a connection between Sawyer and Locke. So I assumed that although it was never confirmed it was alluded to enough for my to consider it fact. The Claire-Jack one is also a case of putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with a very solid 4.

I'm going to go out on a whim and predict that Helen is involved in the Locke-conning too. I'm pretty sure that the hints have all been there, but I can't be bothered to place them all together at the moment.

I doubt that, but she will play some part in this all, I believe it.
Remember in first flashbacks of Locke, he was lonely and talking to some call-girl all days. Helen is somehow related to why he got into some kind of accident. But how? And how it is involved in this in bigger scale? If I would watch every episode again, every flashback, simply everything, I might come up with some theory, but I doubt I have patience for that. But my guess it has somehow something to do with Jack or Jack's father, with both being doctors.
