There is one major topic on everybody’s lips at the moment and here at Newcastle-Online we thought it high time that we got your opinion on it: should Sam Allardyce be relieved of his duties as Newcastle United manager, or does he need to be given more time by Ashley, Mort and the supporters?

After the defeat at Wigan, where our away lads and lasses chanted for Alan Shearer, sang “We’re sh!t and we’re sick of it” and booed the team off the field, and with a trip to bogey ground Stamford Bridge next up, has time run out on Big Sam’s big plan for NUFC just 7 months into his reign?

Just like the last one, it’s as simple as “yes” or “no” over to the right of your screen… but if you’ve got the time, then we’d love to hear your reasoning for whatever answer you give in our “Comments” section.

I have a feeling this could be a lively one…


Oh no, here we go. Newcastle travel to Stamford Bridge of all places, on the back of their two poor performances over the Christmas period. Sam Allardyce and his team will be looking to pick some result up on a ground where noone has won in the Premiership for a long time. Can they do it? We asked the panel…

Wigan Athletic 1-0 Newcastle United. Sound familiar? Well it’s the fourth time in half as many years that the Magpies have travelled to the JJB, and come away having lost by a goal to nil. We should be used to it by now, and two of the panelists even predicted the right score, but it’s another poor performance to add to a dissappointing season.
