1: Keep to the topic at hand.

2: Don’t engage in personal attacks of writers who write for the site, fellow fans’ views published on the site or any individual connected with Newcastle United or the local media. Be bigger than that. We want N.O to be seen as an intelligent fans’ platform and not a mecca for slack-jawed idiots. I.e. the type who embarrass themselves in front of Sky cameras with their “whey aye man, we’re ganna win the league like” patter.

3: Please don’t attack or criticise fellow fansites or fanzines, if you have any issues with a fansite/fanzine, take it up with them, not us. We don’t want to know.

4: While we don’t mind swearing as this is a footy site and we are all adults, please refrain from the more vulgar of swear words and if you have to swear, in moderation please.

5: Please don’t post links in your comments unless you want to point us to something newsworthy or NUFC related. This isn’t a place to plug your site, business or Ebay page. No Spam!

6: Racist, hooliganism talk and any form of potentially libelous comments aren’t welcome here and won’t be published. Furthermore your ISP will be notified.

7: Check your spelling and grammar. Remember thousands of people read this site daily and if you want to get your point across the best way to do it is by making sure it reads well.

8: No text talk or cap lock please. This sin’t a mobile phone or a shout box. Any e-mails or submissions containing text talk or caps lack will be rejected.

We publish 99% of your e-mails sent in but reserve the right to reject any we don’t consider fit enough for the website. We also reserve the right to edit any e-mail for reading comprehension or for libelous comments.
