Newcastle Captain and Vicarage Road goalscorer Scott Parker has apologised for his behaviour at the weekend where he was caught telling fans to “f*** off”!
Parker said:
“I know I should not have done what I did at St James’s Park on Saturday and I can only say sorry and apologise to our supporters.
“It was all heat-of-the-moment stuff when the passion and the pressure both boiled over.
“All I can say in my defence is that all the players want to win for these magnificent fans we have got here at Newcastle United.”

Aye Parker at least gives his all even when he has to be carried of the pitch (Arsenal 05) and at least he has said sorry via a great goal at Watford. The little pixie though who quite frequently masquerades as a right back though can gladly pack his effortless bags in January and fuck off! I notice the papers and media have failed to pick up on his spat with the East Stand paddock against Sheff United. It comes to something when your effort is less than Babayaro! How Steven Taylor must be feeling having to play second fiddle to that time waster, it is just crimminal!

While what Parker did was wrong I have no complaints with the skipper as we all say things we shouldn’t in the heat of the moment. I say to my wife every day what Parker said to fans and she forgives me so we should forgive Parker.

He made up for it last night and no doubt he will do it again in future matches!

Scott Parker can tell me to fuck off as many times as he wants. I’ve questioned his play over the last few games, but I’ve never ever questioned his desire to win. Any fan who has said something to Scott from the crowd should fuck off as far as im concerned.

I don’t see a problem with anything here I mean some of the abuse the players recieve from the fans is something horrible, it was just one of those heat of the moment things best forgoten about!

Parker is learning his bit from shearer I see.
Anyway, I didn’t say anything, because I know Scotty is a big man/player and he was going to prove us wrong or say sorry for what he said (he did both wich show’s you just how big he is).
Best wishes to our captain.

Apology accepted Scott, now lets not dwell on this issue any longer, time to move on and put it all behind us.

I think we may have to cut Parker some slack this season with respect to performances being up and down. He is too much of an inspiration and leader on the field to leave out, yet there will be times he is not fully on top of his game, through his glandular fever. Anybody who has ever suffered will know about the effects and also for how long they hang around. He/the club have not tried to make excuses for him on this front, even though it will almost certainly have an effect on his performance from time to time

If everyone had the same attitude and commitment as Scotty we would be challenging for the Champions League not worrying about the drop. Pity we have a piss poor manager.
