Paul Green - As an Everton fan I have to say your Emre spoof is quite funny.

Stephen Day - Just read your Emre article, how hilarious, your pistake use of the term Premiership giants when refering to Everton is funny. I am the first to admit Everton have not done themselves justice for several years, however I have seen Everton win Championships, FA Cups, a European Trophy, several Charity Shield’s and complete 100 seasons in the top flight. Compare this to Newcastle’s staggering trophy haul of the past 50 years!

If Freddy Shepherd gets his own way, Alan Shearer will be Newcastle’s next manager after Graeme Souness with the Chairman believing it’s what “most supporters want”. Shepherd, speaking to the Chronicle (May 12th 2005) said: “Graeme Souness has already said that he wants Alan Shearer to take over as manager when he leaves. “It’s what the most of our supporters want - and as I am also a supporter it’s what I want.” Is it what YOU, the Newcastle United supporter and Newcastle-Online.com reader want?
