Referee News: Foy For Cup Clash
By Paul Mosley On Wed 20 Dec 2006 |
St Helens official Chris Foy is at St James’ Park tonight for our Carling Cup Quarter Final against Chelsea.
Foy’s last visit to St James’ Park was for our 2-1 defeat to Fulham in September. Foy famously dismissed Chelsea’s Arjen Robben at Sunderland last season.

Yeah, at least we’ve got our honour.
How much did they pay the ref do you reckon?

They were appalling tonight officials, & I am proud of our team we were the better team overall, Chelsea dived and cheated every chance they got, thank god I am not a Chelsea fan having to watch some of the way their players react is appaling and a disgrace to the game.
I.e. Shev smacked Ramage in face with boot Ramage got up, straight away didn’t react hardly
A Chelsea player would have rolled half of the pitch screaming and then spent 10 more mins crying only to pop back up again.
