One of my mates got badly beat up last night walking home through Bensham.  He's gonna miss his best mates 21st birthday night out tonight as a result.  That place is a f****** disgrace.  Pissed off with all the charver f****** business at the minute in the area.  Totally out of hand.  When are the govenment going to do something about it?  Good, decent folk getting beat up on for no reason whatsoever, no wonder a lot of people are too scared to leave there own homes.

Speedy recovery Karl mate.

Aye spose.  It's the mentality of these people that gets me.  What would make you want to put a random person in hospital?  Do these people have f****** feelings?

They're idiots. They have no comprehension of the consequences of what they do. They're barely sentient, tbh.

Always right hard lads when they've got 7 of their mates with them and they're jumping one lad from behind, never hear a peep out of the little fuckers when they're on their todd.  Seen someone who was getting greif from a gang of scummers on the Metro offer the lad who was trying to start on him off at the next stop to sort it out and see how hard he was without his mates and guess what?  He wasn't interested in that.  They f***** off up the carriage later on, presumably to find someone else to give s*** to.  Not always the best idea though that approach, there was that guy in Sunderland minding his own business watching the telly when he ended up with a group of twats looking for trouble outside his house trying to trying to goad him into a fight and when he said, "Alright then, but just you, not all of you" all four of the fuckers jumped him and one of the stabbed him to death.  Like I say, hard lads.

Hope your mate's alright. There's no excuse for it, just lock these fuckers up and throw away the key. My sister got punched in the face by a group of charva lasses a few weeks back. Had a black eye like you wouldn't believe.

attacking a girl too, pathetic. tho i find this a bit suprising, as in my experience charvers seem to be scared of women, perhaps cos theyve been brought up by single parents so they associate females with authority, and since a lot of them will be bad parents, the threat of public humiliation (getting smacked on the bus for instance - you just know those kids are going to grow up to be malicious fuckers). a good approach might be, instead of sending a bloke to take them on physically, just get a lass to laugh at them.

my mom got stabbed- yeah f****** stabbed- by some charva lads and they took her purse.
Thank god it was only a minor stab wound, she was still hospitalised though...
The thing is we were on holiday too (we live abroad but still have a house in Darlo). Bunch of mindless pricks.

Pisses me off watching fleets of coppers pulling people for doing 60 mph in a 50 zone and wandering round in pairs round the nice parts of my town, when every fucker could tell them where all the s*** hangs out surrounded by all the more elite charvers fleeing aboot the estates in their souped up corsas.

Here is what I call: The Metro Death Map. Places I think there are a good chance of you getting a kicking after about 9pm are marked with black spots. I'm sure others will nominate other places.

Unfortunately, this doesn't cover the area west of Newcastle, so a simple rule would be: don't go to the West End.

rule of thumb is to check the prices of the 3 bed semi's in the area. if they are under £150,000 it's getting roughish above and the area is getting a bit posher

I'd add West Jesmond to that list! Loads of dodgy students about. I know 3 lads who got beat up after 10pm just for the sake of a few quid.

The fact the ticket machines are behind bars is a helpful hint.

Decent area, but at West Jesmond there is some scally who looks like a drug addict ALWAYS knocking about the ticket machines and asks to lend 20 pence! f*** off! If anyone else has noticed this guy please let me know so I know he's not picking me out personally.

Whitley Bay isn't that bad.

You get a few piss heads on the weekends going back home on the metro, but most of the time its quite quiet and trouble free.

Just been done up as well.

Tbh, I've seen more fights and charvas at Whitley Bay station than almost anywhere else.

Maybe you use that station more than anywhere else?

Whitley Bay station has the same level of problems at Cullercoats & Tynemouth, only WB is by far policed better than the lot put together.
