So it is. I actually read that on the way back from Vancouver. I couldn't find the sports section though.

There might still be one to be honest. I took that and a copy of USA Today and the New York Times. Purely because they were free and I couldn't be arsed to read more than about 3 pages in each. My carbon footprint that day - Jesus.

Herald & Tribune is usually ok for news and culture and if there has been a big football game, they will report it.

One thing that really grinds my gears about reading those papers is that all the articles start "Forest fires broke out in California tuesday..." or "Bush flew to London thursday to meet Brown". Where the f*** does the 'on' get to? Ticks me right off.

The Guardian is a f****** s**** paper. Made for people who think they're upper class, but just aren't.

Agree.

Although must admit I have read a couple of good sports related and none-political articles on the website. Most recent one about Gerald McClellan's life post Nigel Benn fight, extremely tragic yet strangely ironic, and was very well written.

The Guardian and Telegraph are in another league as newspapers go.

It's more the extremely liberal and sickeningly PC perspective The Guardian is written from that I can't stomach.

As for The Telegraph I am in different, but I do think both have the best sports coverage in the world.
