Exclusive Pictures: Farewell Austria
By Kasper Hakunti On Wed 11 Jul 2007 |
Newcastle ended their week long pre-season camp in Austria yesterday and flew back to Tyneside. Once again our Austrian reporter Stefan was at the scene and captured the Magpies taking off from the Graz airport. Today we also bring you the best unpublished photos from the first two days of the training camp.
Magpies heading home from Austria.
Carr enjoying a practice session.
Huntington, Pattison and Babayaro during a game of football tennis.
Nobby Solano during training.
Huntington and Owen.
Nobby looks on as the staff play a match.
Our reporters are still going through their archives and once they pick out the best photos from the rest of the days we’ll put them up. See you soon with more EXCLUSIVE photos from Austria!

What happened to Mark Taylor and Mike Forde? I thought they were about to join the rest of the staff in Austria. Does anyone know if we got them? In my honest opinion they are worth 5 times the likes of Owen.

From the stuff written about the trip on the forum, Martins picked up a back injury on the trip which kept him out of a couple of days of training that’s probably why he doesn’t feature too much on all the pictures. Apparently he was ok by the end though and played 5 a side with the rest.

Aye he was there when they got there but hasn’t been on any photos since…. just wondered if they knew if he left earlier….. Great photos though.
