Posting this on behalf of madkovo who can't get around the 100 post rule.

Hi there,

I don't usually post in forums very much, infact I've just become a member of this forum. The reason I'm contacting to you is this.

I'm NUFC fan from Zagreb Croatia. Infact I support Dinamo Zagreb (I guess you remember 3. leg of Champions league qualifier 1997/98 when Dinamo and Newcastle met.)

Anyway under the "100 posts" rule I am not allowed to start a new post so I was hoping you could do that for me.

Four of my mates and I are coming to see England-Croatia match at Wembley on 21.11. After that we are coming to Newcastle hoping to, somehow, get a ticket or two for the Newcastle-Liverpool match. I am not a member and I am willing to pay above the list price but not those nonsense prices I found on the web. So I guess the question would be: Is it possible to buy the tickets and how?

It would be great if you could help with posting this, any suggestions or info that might be usefull. This is a rare chance for me to finally come to Newcastle and see the match so it would be a shame to waste it.

thanks very much

madkovo

Remember that it is only permitted to talk about tickets at face value price.

I already did that but there is only Wigan match available. When will Liverpool tickets go on sale and do you think I will be able to purchase those? (not a member)

It's not a short trip and we are coming only because of the match so it would be a shame not to be able to buy the tickets. Any futher information would be more then helpful.

cheers

As soon as the tickets go on sale we will say on here, can you not ring the box office straight away and book them then go and pick them up on matchday?

As I'm aware season ticket holders are on top of the priority list. After that the tickets go on general sale (if there are any left). It is possible to buy the tickets only for the following few mathces on-line.

It is not a problem to call the box office but is it really possible to book the tickets for Liverpool match in advance (before they officialy go on sale) and pick them up at the box office on match day just like that, even if I'm not a member??

You'll have to wait for the tickets to go on general sale I think.

How did you book the tickets in the first place? I thought that was not possible?

I guess you didn't get any discount? :-)

The tickets for home matches vs. West Ham, Tottenham and Everton are on general sale and, as I can see, there is no problem with purchasing tickets for those matches on-line. However those are cat. B fixtures.

What I would like to know is this - Can I be sure that I'll be able to buy the tickets for Liverpool match on 24.11.? Are those tickets going to be available on general sale on-line as well?

It's quite a tricky and costly trip for us, and I need to plan everything in advance so I just want to be sure that I'll be able to buy tickets for the five of us (or just for myself :-))).

Thanks

They will go on general sale but Liverpool is usually a popular fixture so you will have to be quick, check on here and .co.uk and they will give you a few days notice before they go on general sale, it'll be up to you to get them sorted asap.

Have you signed up to buy tickets with the official site? It might be better if you do that now so it'll be easier when it comes to buying tickets.

Also it might be beneficial to you if you email the club and let them know your situation, they may even be able to tell you when they are going on sale.

Thanks for the info. I already signed up and e-mailed the customer service but they haven't replied. I guess I'll have to watch this space then and hope for the best.

So they don't have exact dates when the tickets go on sale?

After 2 months of anticipation finally the Liverpool tickets went on general sale but only as a 3 match package :-( I read that the tickets will be available on general sale at a later date. Does anyone know when will that happen or maybe better will it happen?

As I already wrote the 5 of us are coming from Zagreb only because of this match so it would be a shame if we wouldn't get the tickets. The only option besides waiting for single match tickets to go on general sale is to buy the whole package and try to sell the other Portsmouth and Liverpool tickets but I don't know if that's legal and I don't have anyone to sell it to. The fact that I live in Croatia doesn't help.

Perhaps there is someone who cannot attend the Liverpool match and would like to see the other two games. In that case we can make a deal (if that's legal of course Smile

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for us to finally see a Newcastle home match so any suggestion would be helpfull.

Please help me out guys. Appreciate it....

Don't worry. These tickets will go on general sale for the Liverpool match only. It must be too early at this stage that's all. When the date for general sale is annonced it will appear on this site or nufc.co.uk. As long as you phone the club or buy on-line early on the sale date, you should be ok. If not, there are always people willing to sell tickets if, for any reason they can't attend themselves.
Good luck and enjoy the game.

It's confirmed that the Liverpool tickets will go on general sale from November 4.
Does anyone know if it's likely that there will be any left considering the triple package and that members of Club United or what it's called can order them from October 23? I'm hoping to come over from Norway for my fourth time, so it would've been great if anyone with a little experience of this could give me an answer. Thumbs up

I was considering joining Members Club before but now I would certanly do it in order to be able to buy the Liverpool tickets on 23rd of October. However as I can see there is no on-line aplication form. I have to print the form, fill it out and send it by mail and only then will I be sent the details regarding my membership. Regarding the fact that I live in Croatia that will take time.

Is there any other way to become a member by 23.10? If not will there be any tickets left by 4th November when the tickets go on general sale?

tnx for the info

Try phoning up the number 0044 191 201 8457 between 9am and 5pm GMT and explain that you want to become a club member and as you live in Croatia can you do it over the phone with a credit/maestro card and be given your membership number as soon as possible. If that doesn't work then I don't know what you can do.

Yes, I saw it on the Official Site, but I still can't see the box office opening on a Sunday just to sell Liverpool tickets.

Have all of these tickets got to be together, Madkovo?

The reason I ask is because a friend of mine wants me to get him 2 tickets for the Portsmouth game, I was thinking that I could get the package and you could buy the Liverpool tickets off me and I could give the Birmingham tickets away as Christmas presents.

How many do you want btw? I'm not sure if the package will allow me to buy 2 tickets for each game or have more for the Liverpool game.

Let me know and we'll see if we can sort something out.

I've managed to purchase 2 tickets for the Liverpool game (Thanks very much Baggio) which means I'll be needing 3 more. If anyone is planning on buying the package and doesn't need the Liverpool tickets or has Liverpool tickets to spare I am willing to purchase them. Please contact me if you can help me with this.

Thanks very much.
