or IV, i guess, as some say that this current struggle w/ terrorism is WWIII.
but, given the basic ingredients of Israel, USA, Britain, Iran, Iraq, Russia, China, etc... along with the spices of ideology, religion, worldview & politics... how do you see it all going tits up for planet earth's human population?

It will start as a small diplomatic incident between a rhetoric fueld anti-western middle eastern state, and a nuclear western power

I've completely written off 'The States' as a source of any kind of ideation or sanity. I only check on how Morrissey is getting on with the Mexicans in LA.

Sooner or later its all going to kick off with Iran, with this latest incident a huge leap towards war has been taken.
It may not lead to WW3 but may lead to the draft being re-introduced particulrly in the UK which would have most of us 18-25's shitting a brick!
The way the draft works as far as I can gather is like this.
First of all, the 20 year olds are called up, then as more soldiers are needed, men aged 21,22,23,24 and 25 years old get the call.
If this is not enough they then call up the 19 then 18 year olds.
So if WW3 is going to break out can it please wait two years until I turn 26 so I can escape the draft?!?!.....pretty please....
Happy days......

i wasn't asking you to acknowledge the states as a source, i was asking if there aren't people in england who believe this ongoing terror thing is a world war. surely blair or some of his harder line supporters have said something like this, no?

not really, not even in the media, most see it as a limited war but one which is stretching us...oh and no body over here believes the war is being fought for the reasons given by our governments

There's no way that they'd dare to introduce the draft, there'd be a no-confidence vote in Parliament and the government would be out on their arse before they knew what had happened to them if they tried.
No-one would accept it for bullshit wars like Iraq or potentially Iran.

Not at the moment, but I would be if they introduced the draft and my name got pulled out. Even if it didn't, I'd join whatever protest/civil disobedience it resulted in because it would simply be wrong. The kind of wars our troops have been sent to fight recently are not the kind of wars I'd ever want to be involved in, if the country was under threat - WW2 style - then fine sign me up, but anything less they can f*** off.
I know you were joking
sorry for the semi-serious reply.

Ultimately Bliar is just a puppet...He takes order like any one of them..The speaker sits on a cushion made of lamswool...Black Rod bangs on the door..The tea still comes from India. The Wah wah pedal on terrah is an attempt at psychic warfare against the poplulation...Govt insiders don't beleive a word of it.. I mean the main man in 7/7 turned out to be working for Mi6. Yes there is a world war, but it is the most henious campaign against mankind and perhaps Vic's inability to choose his own lightbulbs. In the mix there are terrorist groups with convulueted agenda's poppy supplies to worry about....Pocket books with invisible pencil...Alice releases another 12" from Wonderland. Jacko builds his own statue. Bring it on.

Surely it always has been, and always will be greed that becomes the defining factor.
