Congratulations SC Heerenveen

Remember that Dutch side we beat in the UEFA Cup, SC Heerenveen? Well unlike wor lot, they managed to qualify for Europe via their League - for the second season in a row too. Congratulations to the Frisian fans whom have built up a good relationship with Newcastle fans since our double header back in February, in particular with members of Newcastle-Online.com, contributing to the forum on a regular basis and even wanting to come back to Tyneside to take in a Toon match or two.

Why they'd want to follow our lot I don't know but the more the merrier.

Good on em', cracking club with cracking fans.

Season Ticket Price Freeze

reddy Shepherd has announced today that he will keep season ticket prices the same as the 2004/2005 ticket prices to help ease the pain of such a dreadful season.

Freddy said:

"We value the support the fans give and keeping season ticket prices the same is the club keeping faith with the fans who have stuck by the club this season."

No doubt prices will double in 2006-07 then or is that just my twisted view of the club. Season ticket renewal forms should reach fans by the end of the week with a closing date of June 13th.
