What that lass has told you is the half story they tell everyone though mate. How long you've had your season ticket, and whether you attend home cup games doesn't give you a point, but it is taken into consideration.
It's obvious that you get a point for away games, some people just choose to ignore it because they're in a huff about being ticketless. That doesn't mean you iklgizmo.
The system DOES work. The people who bother thier arses to follow us get priorities. The staff make mistakes though, always have and always will. I've been f***** over in the past thanks to human error, and I will be in the future.
If they ever bother thier arses to explain it FULLY they'd get less grief.
Not that I am disputing you in any way, cos I'm not, but how do they take it into consideration? I agree that they should have a clear and accessable policy for away tickets.

Aye, nae bother mate. Am just trying to work out exactly how they decide who gets a ticket. Have asked 3 different people in the box office and had 3 different answers so far.

It is my understanding that they work it out by looking at the number of away tickets you have applied for whilst being a season ticket holder up to a maximum of 10 seasons.

IF you're a normal ST Holder, that's weapons grade horse s***. They haven't even processed all the apps yet, and don't expect to get the tickets out until early next week. They've told me and many other people that over the course of today. Absolutely nee one I know (a fair few of who are prettymuch garunteed thier tickets) haven't had any money taken or any tickets sent either.

Or royalty. None of the 40 odd people I multi-texted earlier have anything at all, no money taken, no tickets, no knockbacks, nowt. Half of them have been told by the box office they can't tell them if they've been successful or not yet becasue they havent processed thier apps yet. Forgive me for being the ultimate pessimist, just seems very odd to me, as all these people are well placed for tickets. Including myself.

Only thing I can think of is if it came down to the last few people on the borderline and they had for example 1 ticket left to dish out between two people with the same points they'd opt for the one who'd had their ST the longest.
