It's s*** when they try too hard to be funny, or controversial in Clarkson's case.
I've actually found it quite funny so far, few cheesy moments and a guest who I have no idea who she is but overall quite good and the trailer at the start of the program looked funny as f***. No idea who Helen Mirren is? Bloody hell.

Hardly from the outskirts of Timbuktu though are you? True.. but still I really have no idea who she is. I had a look on IMDB at all the stuff she's done, seen none of it.

Aye my mate said she was in the queen when I asked, though I've never seen it either. She's just passed me by then because I'd never heard of her before top gear tonight.

She really is nothing special at all, just an old bag who liked to get her tits out a lot. The Queen was over rated and very royal sided view of events, i wouldn't bother unless you like your true stories untrue!

Top Gear just makes you jealous. Yeah, let's just casually drive around Europe in a Lambo looking for great roads..
Clarkson is a total c*** yet he has such an amazing job.

Sup it all up. Get it while it's still hot. It won't be here for much longer.

"Just what was God thinking of when he gave this to the Swiss? Clearly should have been ours." Pissed myself for about five minutes after he said that. Just the way he delivers such lines.

The show is weird because of the crowd, all standing around like robots with plastic smiles and laughing on cue. Similar to the rows of people you get standing behind the US President for example when hes making a "morale-boosting" speech - just seems fake and cringeworthy as opposed to being natural.
Most of the time the presenters are addressing the cameras and home audience, and then randomly address the crowd who seem to be herded around them and the guests as though its a silent zoo. Such a strange environment to present a show - doesnt work for me.

Motherfucking forgot about the start tonight. Is it repeated any time soon? Nothing on RadioTimes.com about it. Easy enough to acquire though I suppose.
