Ribery is predominantly a right winger.

Do you know if he played left back or left wing, obv he has got 3 on his shirt in the picture above which would indicate left back.

It would.
And it would probably be a better option for him with Malouda and the others in front of him in the left-wing spot.

This time, N'Zogbia, Butt, Barton and Shola almost definitely miss out, while Enrique, Taylor, Geremi, Owen and Martins almost definitely start.

France : Jourdren - Dabo - Bellaïd - Digard - N'Zogbia - Marveaux - Cabaye (cap., puis Chantôme, 75ème) - I. Dia - Ménez (puis Matuidi, 64ème) - Payet - Gouffran (puis Gakpé, 60ème).

Suggests he played the full game at left back. Also has him on the team selection page as a defender.

Set up the 4th goal as well according to the L'Equipe minute-by-minute commentary thing.

Theres a few photos from Romania of N'Zogbia in training.

He played the full 90 minutes in a 0-0 draw with Romania at left back.

Hope he doesn't get shoehorned into a left-back role for both club and country.

I agree with everything Scott Parker's 60's Haircut's said so far, he seems to have a good understanding on the whole concept, and speaks a great deal of sense.
