Dexter was good, I agree. Also I am hoping Battlestar gets better next season as it is the last.

Ok, this is getting better. I've just watched up to the thanksgiving one. I'm glad that Geek and Snob have been removed from the plot of late, and I like the mystery behind Hawking's character.

Whoever told me this was better than Lost is SO wrong so far though. The character stuff is nowhere near on par... Still pretty good viewing though.

The legend that is Lennie James:

Quote
To the family, friends, and fans of Jericho,

I write to you from my home in London utterly staggered by the events of the last week or so. I, along with all the cast and crew from the show, was totally gutted (UK slang for 'very upset') when news came down that our show was cancelled. As has been said by others who have posted here, Jericho was a special time for so many of us. We worked so well together and it was almost effortless, so easy. Don't get me wrong it wasn't all plain sailing, we fought and we argued and some days were best forgotten...But most days, almost everyday on Jericho was a joy. If I had to be as far away from my family, as I had to be to do this job, I could not have picked a finer bunch of people to be with than the cast, crew, writers and producers of this show.
As if that wasn't enough, my luck ran further because I was given the gift of playing Robert Hawkins. I will forever be grateful for the opportunity I was given to bring that man to life. He kept me on my toes and kept me honest. I enjoyed his company so much.
As I say, that was about as much luck as any one actor, any one show, deserved...but no, our luck ran still further. It turns out that we have about the most amazing fans that ever were. Truly your support and passion for Jericho is very humbling. You have stood up when all around you, including myself, gave up. You have reminded all of us involved in this rarefied world of making TV just who we are making it for. You have stopped being veiwing figures and started being individual people who cared, who enjoyed, who were entertained, and who were loyal and committed. You were a great audience and are proving to be more than we ever could have wished for.
As I said I am staggered by your show of strength and just wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you. Thanks for watching and thanks for fighting to see more.
JERICHO FANS ARE DA BOMB!
God bless you all
Cheers
Lennie "The Hawk" James

This is fantastic news. I was so gutted when they pulled the show, I though it was right up there with Heroes. I always hoped that maybe another network would take it up, but this is unbelievable. Finally we'll get to see Hawkins use that tank!  cheesy

Maybe the thread title should be changed...  Wink

Just finished watching the pilot. I'm a big fan of post-apocalyptic survival tales, so I'm not exactly sure how I missed this show from the beginning. Not nearly as good as Lost, but I'll give it until episode 8, since that's apparently where it all kicks off...

Yeah, so did I.

I'm quite impressed with how a few of the american shows have been pushing your average viewer out of their comfort zone, what with people speaking in Japanese/Korean with subtitles in Heroes/Lost and stuff like that in Jericho. It's clever thought provoking television, and I like it.

... Thought it was fantastic in the end, to be honest. The finale was just absolutely superb -- really.

Second paragraph still stands though...

Just seen this advertised, its coming to ITV soon Big Grin The sad thing is the DVD was due for release on Monday past, but has now been postponed to March 31st 2008, i cant only think the reason is because ITV bought the rights to it. I pre ordered it off Amazon and this said it will be delivered this week so God knows what will happen now.

Edit: There is one on Amazon available in Used and New, so someone has obviously got it, maybe mine is actually coming this week after all Big Grin
