voted rock/indie, although they shouldnt be put together as rock is much better ;-)
To be honest, Indie is just a subsection of Rock, as is Metal.
Agreed but i wanted to split them up. The whole genre debate is complicated, just look at this list from wikipedia!
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_music_genres
There are quite a few I see
Currently popular on the Jubilee line

Agreed. I like Rock but not so much Indie (ie: cant stand Oasis, well to be more precise-
Britpop
bands that are classified as Indie?).
pretty much same here, although i quite like razorlight, love feeder! really disapointed with snow patrol tho their last album was much better! What annoys me is that they class foo fighters as alternative rock, how the f*** is that alternative rock, its proper rock!!!

Like Massive Attack? Or do you mean the really s*** stuff like Leftfield, MAW, Derrick May, Carl Craig or Bugz in the Attic etc etc?
As dance music is so easy to make, you have to filter lots of s*** but if you know the music, then there is a load of quality.
As with all genres, there is a continuum of quality.

No Swing? No Dance? No Disco?
Anyway I don't have one particualr fave as it's often a case of what the mood takes for me when it comes to music, I like all genres execept techno trance s****, that afterdark crap and heavy metal or death music whatever they want to call it.

How does that list work? I'm in our group, but don't listen to much of that list. Is it tallied by how many group members listen to the same band??

Indie/rock really. Partial to a bit of dance/r&b but I absolutely hate hip-hop and heavy metal music, utter s***.
