Course. I remember I could never get hold of NUFC though, my dad always used to wind me up by asking why I was playing as St Mirren (closest I could find!).

Got given a Subbuteo set by a couple of Italian students we had staying in our house just before the 82 World Cup - proper Italian version as well. The players were never that steady on their mounts like - went over dead easy and stayed down sort of rolling around on the ground. :|

Used to have the big astroturf, but because it was kept in a tube you always had to put like an encyclopedia on each corner to stop it rolling back up.

i used to have this. didnt really have any idea about the rules/how to play.
me and my bro used to just take turns.
for example, i'd start with my player, pass it to another player. then it's his go. he tries to tackle. etc.

Scale s***. Always set it up thinking 'this will be great' and it just wasn't. Scalextric. Yep. Subbuteo was fun but I'll be buying my son a Scalextric in a few years...great memories.
