Looks like a really nice place, reminds me abit if when I rented an apartment in Madrid off a friend of a friend. Lots of neighbours about and apartments and you can see across the City. Makes for a perfect picture!

BUMP. What the f*** is this? I'm struggling to think of an occasion where such a costume would be appropriate.

Absolutely bang on. Maybe you could soften and/or crap the white wall a little, but quality composition and expression. Thumbs up

Keef, Dave and Indi, cheers for the appreciation.  Keef, yeah, I haven't had time to play with the contrast in photoshop, but I'll see what I can do.

Here's some experimentation I've done in a blacked out room with various light sources.  No Photoshoping was involved:

Shameless thread resurrection to highlight that I've gotten off my arse to go and get some pictures.  This from last night:

Craster

And I'm not sure if I've posted these before, but:

More long exposure water, taken somewhere on the river Coquet.

Tynemouth Beach (obviously)

open c...did you alter the first one there, the water has the misty quality that some out on photos and i don't particularly care for.

really like the 2nd and 3rd though..on the tynemouth one the only thing i don't like is the pier,it looks unnatural but knowing the scene as i do it has to be there....no win. if i went down armstrongs bridge i'd be tempted to buy that one.

Cheers Bonk Smile  I was in China a few years ago; wish I'd taken my good camera with me >_<  So many great photos there.  I'd forgotten about the bike parks.  Do you have a gallery online anywhere..?

No, it's just a long exposure (I think that one was about eight seconds).  Everything that keeps still in the scene looks normal, the moving water looks misty because the camera doesn't have time to resolve the image.
