The Sounds - today.

The best gig ever - no doubt about that. Even though it was bit early (started around 9pm local time), it was simply awesome, crowd went crazy at times.

Got some tickets for the Public Enemy gig, thanks to the heads up on here. I'm normally on the ball about these things, but I've really been slacking of late.

Good lad.

I'm rather disappointed it still isn't a sell out but you can buy me a pint when I see you there.

Think there's one in summer and one in winter now. Wish I was going.

I have fully resurrected this thread after the awesome Public Enemy show last night! If they'd cut out the Flava solo advertising in the middle it would've been even better.

I guess my next confirmed gig isn't until November when DJ Shadow's playing. I see Badly Drawn Boy's playing at the end of the month, though, so maybe I'll check out that scruffy t***.

Did you notice the lanky loon in green and white bouncing up and down by the right speaker?  That was me.  Flav's solo stuff apart it was maybe better than the uni a few years ago.

i like metal, rock, indie, acoustic, most but dance and pop... really.
