haha who saw that episode, Vito's dancing was so funny. Question is what's he gonna do now, whack the guys that saw him?  Tony's losing the plot a bit, was quite funny seeing him beat the f**k outa that muscleman though in typical brutal tony style fashion.

I can't for the life of me remember Chrissy's line at the wedding but i pissed myself laughing.  I'll watch it again later to get it.

Pauly hardly had a line this week, but his face when T beat up the bodyguard was priceless.  He was utterly perplexed  Laughing

Not much actually happened this week though.  It all seemed to be about Tony re-asserting his power.  The whole wedding story seemed to be there just to show his fear of weakness.  He was already worried after collapsing at the wedding, but the reaction to Johnny being weak, how his own men were disgusted as well as other crews, obviously pushed him into action.

I wonder if Vito will get another mention or if he'll be dropped like the bloke that hung himself, and Bobby's Gangsta rapper.  I like to think he's not killed himself yet and will instead go after the blokes that saw him, if they're from Johnny Sach's family that will cause trouble.  What with Phil's low opinion of Johnny at the minute, Vito being Phil's brother in law, Rusty's (apparent) lust for power and Tony's lack of enthusiasm about hitting Rusty.  Looks like Johnny's time is over.

Hehe that episode was class, thought it was quite tongue in cheek the whole way through, Chris and Arty were certainly on the mad one throughout. Found chris really funny in  this episode, coked out his nut sneering at Ben Kingsley  Laughing

Last week was disappointing to say the least, the whole Artie thing is probably building to something but christ it was boring.  This week on the other hand was total class, not really any laughs in it but loved every second.

Quote
'The Sopranos' and a growing cast list of misdemeanours
By Jerome Taylor
Published: 04 May 2006

Tony Soprano would not be pleased. One after the other, the cast members of the landmark US Mob series The Sopranos have fallen foul of the law. Worse than that, they keep getting caught.

This week it was the turn of the Mob bosses' favourite chef Artie Bucco, the actor John Ventimiglia, and his bodyguard Perry Annunziata, the actor Louis Gross, to be arrested and charged by New York police.

They join the celebrated cast's already large hall of shame that includes Robert Iler, a child actor who plays Tony's son - he has already pleaded guilty to mugging tourists.

At least Mr Gross, who plays Tony's musclebound minder, stayed true to his Mob role and observed the code of silence, omerta, when talking to reporters after being released on bail.

The former fitness model, 23, shrugged off the charges against him saying: "I don't know nothing. I'm innocent. I'm always innocent."

Mr Gross was charged with criminal mischief after a woman claimed he broke into her house last month. According to police reports, Mr Gross was originally charged on Sunday night with the more serious offence of stealing more than $2,700 ((£1,400)in cash and property but those charges were later reduced to the more minor crime of criminal mischief.

Mr Ventimiglia, whose frustrated restaurant owner and wannabe mobster has been one of the mainstays of the series now in its sixth and final season, was arrested for drink-driving and drug possession.

The 42-year-old was picked up after police officers spotted him weaving suspiciously in and out of the busy Brooklyn traffic. When officers stopped him he allegedly had bloodshot eyes, slurred speech and smelt of alcohol. According to a criminal complaint, police also found a plastic bag and envelope containing traces of cocaine.

His lawyer, Benjamin Petrofsky, said: "John feels terrible and embarrassed. Until we gather all the information, we will have no further comment." Mr Ventimiglia has been released without bail and is to appear in court next month.

While the travails of the make-believe mobsters has delighted New York's tabloid press, a string of serious criminal charges against former or current cast members has cast a less than glitzy shadow over the influential HBO programme. In December last year, Lillo Brancato Jnr, who played an aspiring mobster on the show, pleaded not guilty to the charge of second-degree murder for his alleged role in a burglary during which an off-duty police officer, Daniel Enchautegui, was shot and killed as he confronted intruders in the Bronx, New York.

Mr Brancato, who had been charged earlier that year for heroin possession, was arrested shortly after the shooting. A trial is due to commence later this year.

Earlier in 2005, one of the shows main stars, Vincent Pastore, was sentenced to 70 hours' community service after pleading guilty to the attempted assault of his girlfriend Lisa Regina who also played a minor role the show's fifth series.

The youngest member of the show's cast to fall foul of the law, Mr Iler was arrested when he was just 16 for mugging two Brazilian tourists on Manhattan's Upper East Side and possessing marijuana.

Mr Iler, who plays Tony's rebellious young son, could have been jailed for 15 years under New York's tough sentencing guidelines but he pleaded guilty and was shown leniency. He was given three years' probation instead.

What the f***?  Mugging c***s?  Laughing

I thought it was a brilliant episode again.  Great to see Pauly and Chris back getting more screen time.  I think it marks the point where Chrissy has been lost from the family too.

When Chrissy sat with Tony and told him he loved him, why did he rember the time he went to him to tell him about Ade? The scene doesn't suggest any great paternal feeling from Tony, in fact he's more worried that Chrissy is wearing a wire.

I think in the same way Chrissy has married this new girl to convince himself he's over Ade, he's also claiming undying love and respect for the man that had her whacked in order to supress the hate. The uncomfortable scene between Tony and Chrissy while sorting the wine brought it all back too, perhaps it was the first time they'd been in the cellar together since the Ade killing, but the conversation was forced and showed that the 'bond' they like to think they have is a lie.

Chrissy doesn't have anyone or anything. The houses, cars, girls etc mean nothing to him. Ade was the one who got him off drugs and no-one else can now. The only other thing apart from her that he loves is the movies. It's all lining up for him to rat out everyone, make a deal and make the movie of his life.

Didnt think of that at all, can definately see him getting more into the movies but do ytou really think he would rat them all out for that? I couldnt see him doing it unless Tony does something really bad to hurt him, dunno where but I can see Anthony Jr tying into this somehow...

I don't know what it is that'll eventually make him flip, but he's the one with least to lose that's given up most for the life.  And he's really starting to notice that now.  He's using drugs again to numb the pain of that realisation, his dreams of getting into the movies using his mafia clout seem to be hitting a dead-end too.

Tony doesn't care about him, what's he doing giving him wine?  Or Silvio getting the Cristal?

I don't think it'll happen this season, but I can see him sinking lowere and lower until it happens toward the end of next season.

The fact that he's back on drugs will make him easier to flip.  Still don't think he will though.  If anyone, I think it'll be Vito who will, in order to save his own skin.

Thank f*** Jimmy Cakes, or whatever he was called, seems to be confined to the bin.  Chris seems to not have taken his addiction to another level, which is good to see.  Would've been too predictable for him to go off the rails.

Pretty s*** Johnny Sac' is in the can for 15 years now, actually quite liked him.  Time for big Phil to step up to the plate...
