2  Football / NUFC / Re: Team for Reading (h) Wed 6th December on: December 05, 2006, 10:39:48 AM
Has the squad been annouced yet? Is Dyer in it
3  Football / NUFC / Re: Bramble Injured on: December 04, 2006, 12:58:21 PM
Seems like Dyer won't be risked either :(

Were does it say about Dyer
4  Football / NUFC / Re: Owen on SSN on: December 01, 2006, 10:31:59 AM
he's played Dyer and Martins the last two PL-games so I don't see why he shouldn't be able to play Martins and Owen.
Owen is just what we need right now, a goal scorer. Sure, Sib has taken on the role well enough, but he's not even a patch on Owen. I'm really looking forward to seeing an Owen-Martins partnership with Zoggy and Dyer down the flanks.

how about owen-martins up top with zog and wright-philips on the wing and dyer through the middle
5  Football / NUFC / Re: Ambience in Frankfurt on: December 01, 2006, 09:58:26 AM
I wasnt there but I saw the match from my home.I dont know about our fans, because they wasnt featured much. The atmosphere was good, and I think the Frankfurt fans contributed to it more than our fans.I really like the part where you guys were jumping up and down.Maybe we should do that at our next home match.

Of course the frankfurt fans contributed more they were 45000 of the and only 2500 of us
6  Football / NUFC / Re: Arsenal Defender on: November 30, 2006, 03:37:10 PM
if we are looking at Arsenal Defenders i would be looking at Lauren if he ever gets fit
7  Football / NUFC / Re: Team for Frankfurt? on: November 30, 2006, 03:35:48 PM
In the world interview Roeder said all the kids will be on the bench with one of the more senoir players, the others will start.
I hope Milner does start or who will he put on the right wing ?, if its Nobby then who's at RB?
If Luque start I think the one more senior player on the bench will be Zoggy.

i think the senior player on the bench will be Martins
8  Football / NUFC / Re: Albert Luque on: November 30, 2006, 03:34:30 PM
the only thing that will change any body`s opinion is if all of a suden become good
9  Football / NUFC / Re: Team for Frankfurt? on: November 30, 2006, 03:33:37 PM

According to the jounal:

 Given

Solano Bramble Taylor Ramage

 Butt
 Emre N'Zogbia
Milner Luque

 Sibierski

That's what i would suspect too....

if this is how we play we should see the best of luque but i think it will be

Given

Solano    Bramble   Taylor   Ramage

Minler    Butt    Emre    Zog

Sib    Luque
10  Football / NUFC / Re: Celta Vigo @ home Thursday on: November 20, 2006, 02:55:21 PM
If we are going to play 3 at the back i'd like to see:

 Given

 Ramage Bramble Taylor

Milner Emre Butt N'Zogbia
 Parker

 Sibierski Martins

I'd love to see Patterson get a game. Still no sign of Bernard? Why have him on our books?

Bernard is injured
11  Football / NUFC / Re: Bramble "boost" for Toon on: November 16, 2006, 10:19:21 AM
Given

Taylor Moore Ramage Duff

Dyer Parker Butt Zoggy Milner

 Martins

Subs
Harper
Huntingdon
Nobby
Sibierski
Pattison

just a quick point but why do you have a right winger on the left a left winger in the middle and a central midfielder on the right
12  Football / NUFC / Re: Who do you want to manage NUFC ??? on: November 15, 2006, 07:02:04 PM
martin O'neill as he contract runs out in the summer
13  Football / NUFC / Re: Act now before it's too late on: November 15, 2006, 12:30:39 PM
to be honest yes i do think we will be out of it we have not been playing well at all but if and i know it is a big if we play like we did in the last 5 mins against Man City we could quite easily pull away afterall we are only what 9 points behind Liverpool
14  Football / NUFC / Re: Act now before it's too late on: November 15, 2006, 12:24:30 PM
Glen the gormless has to go and go now. Who has any confidence in a team being managed by him to beat Portsmouth, Reading and Watford at home ? I am going to the Emirates Stadium on Saturday and dread the outcome. The other games are Blackburn and Chelsea away. The reality is that come December 16th we could be completely dislocated from the other teams and find no way back. How difficult will it be to persuade any good players to come to SJP ? and who, of any quality, would want to be manager if we are in this position. I used to think there are at least several other clubs with poorer teams than us but have difficulty naming any now. Confidence is shattered and the team have the jitters too often . FFS do it now before it is too late.

i might not be happy about how things are going but we have already beaten portsmouth and watford so we can do it again and before you say they rested players so did we, not sure how reading are playing but with the added pace that Dyer and Martins will bring we have a chance Blackburn are not playing great at the mo but have a goal getter so will be difficult and is there any team in the Prem that expect to get anything from Chelsea
15  Football / NUFC / Re: Team for Watford? on: November 07, 2006, 02:30:52 PM
It looks like it will be Sibi and Rossi upfront tonight, Luque must feel like Roeder set him up.
Roeder - "you get a start tonight Albert, this is your chance to show me you can play"
Luque - "At last thanks boss, i won't let you down"
Roeder - "Oh by the way, your up top alone, we are playing a 4-5-1"
Luque - "gee thanks boss"

He was neover going to be able to much in a lone striker role and now he cannotg et a game again.

he scored which is what a striker is paid to do and to be fair in the position he was asked to play he did ok but at the end of the day the one thing he did which no one else seems to be able to do is put the ball in the back on the net

20  Football / NUFC / Re: Squad for Palermo on: November 01, 2006, 12:25:12 PM
"slight Knocks" rubbish, but he does not want to come out and say he is resting them and appear to not be taking the EUFA cup seriously. We get 1 days rest after this match and for once Roeder has done the right thing, we did not have much chance of winning this game anyway so keeping the key players fit for Saturday is a good thing.

to be honest last time we rested players was probably our best game this season
