							| 1 | Football / NUFC / Re: Stupid Idiotic Blabbermouth (aka Shepherd) at it again | on: December 13, 2006, 01:36:52 PM |
							| Newcastle chairman Freddy Shepherd has hailed the achievements of manager Glenn Roeder in the face of adversity.definitely mate he has done a fantastic job in the state he finds his resources in

I only read that line and i have to say i agree, we are picking our squad from bones right now and have somehow managed to show atleast some direction. credit where credit is due, hats of to glenn

i dont like him as a bloke but you can only praise what he is doing at the moment
tonight at chelsea you will see a team at its roots but he will still go for the victory and play with passion
that is what i call a true manager

							| It is a valid point though. Maybe if fans were able to watch players would be forced to put in the extra effort.yes i agree totally it would give them something to prove wouldnt it and it would make them want to stand out from others

							| thats a poor effort that is considering that watching training etc. inspires kids doesnt it?im 17 and having the chance to see training would be fantastic because it gives you an insight into what they actually do in training, are fans allowed in then?and where is the training ground?

No fans are not allowed any where near, its a shame becuase in the old days being allowed to the trianing ground was great.the thing with me is i want to as a youth find out as much as i possibly can about football and footballers as it is in my interests and this 'celebrity' tag which surrounds them nowadays is awful.
im going to sheffield utd versus man utd tommorow and i hope to get som man utd players autographs but due to the pathetic security and tags surrounding them and their value, its almost an impossibility now!

							| obviously graeme souness and glenn roeder have done wonders for the club havent theyNot forgetting Oliver's quote of the night - "You don't want foreigners in charge of our club man", in response to me telling him that my managerial preference in the summer was Hitzfeld.

Yeah, these 'non-foreigners' do so much better, don't they? Wait, maybe that's not the defining characteristic of a quality manager, but just his own prejudice once more on display. Cock. |

							| 6 | Football / NUFC / Re: Would Shearer be the man we need? | on: November 17, 2006, 11:29:11 AM |
							| shearer is quite clearly the fans choice i would love him to finally make the players realise what it means to play for newcastle united because i believe that he is the only person who truely understands that in reality!dont shoot the messenger but have it on good authority that shearer does not want the job as he wants a break from major involvment with the toon.
Thank god for that!! Hang about, it's just this kind of sensible decision making that we need at NUFC!! Shearer for manager!!I like your logic

							| wouldnt be surprised to be honest i just want to understand why luque has turned from one of the most feared strikers in spain to being an absolute joke within the space of 18 months! The extra 2.5m for Luque must be the VAT and we never declare that do we.The centre half is Knight without a doubt, wonder how much Fulham have conned out of us.

Nope, it's not VAT. We might conjecture in the absence of any evidence it's an *ahem * agent's fee |

							| watching luque train is not something to expose young children to tbh.
 according to roland.

no definitely not as roeder says he has a chance to prove himself by working hard in training, and he doesnt get a place in the team still so he must arrive to training everyday and make a level of effort that could be likened to an unfit and hungover sunday league player when he is at training!
why did we ever spend that money on him?

							| i think he will definitely make an impact when he comes back and i cant wait because i see him as a legend for joining the club and he was electric for us last year when he was fit remember the hat trick against west ham, breathtaking! its only a matter of a few months now and when you look at it in weeks, 25, it doesnt seem forever either

							| Oliver of course once hit the heady heights of playing in the Wearside League.yes it does seem our back room staff are quite woeful considering the profile of the club
It's a shame that someone as intellectually limited as Lee Clark is given a role in a club as big as Newcastle. And as for Terry MacDermott..??

Could you really see any serious club employing them ?

and as for alan oliver, is there any newcastle fan that likes him? to be honest i cant stand him it makes me feel angry whenever i hear his name!

 oh right thanks.
there are some unprofessional remarks there considering lee clark is so high in the club
he shouldnt admit openly as to how bad olivier bernard is should he?
good to know that we are being linked with the right players though wayne bridge is a world better than babayaro!

							| fair enoughWould have summed the lad up that after all the long-term injuries he's had, his career was forced to end because of a freak eye injury.
yes i suppose but also he has been a complete idiot and taken advantage of his status. i dont think he's a bad person he is just always drawn into things as we have seen with his troubles like when he was reported for indecent exposure and when he was linked along with titus to the infamous rape case. unfortunately he is a footballer who does not think as a professional 24 hours a day and he has been caught out due to this i do think his skill is unbelievable and his speed is quality and he has been very unfortunate with injury and last season when he returned he looked a fantastic player giving 110% so lets hope he can return this time and do it for the team and help us get out of this horrible run we find ourselves in.Quickly proven that he was out with Beckham's sister and had no part in the highjinx that nightfair enough but he was a bit of an idiot early in his career what was he doing out with beckhams sister anyway shes distgusting!Yeah cos Kieron is Beckhams dopleganger |

							| He's actually grown up a lot recently, since he became a father etc. As far as I know.yes i can remember seeing him at stamford bridge last season in the FA cup match he gave a fantastic performance and i just hope he can come back to be a great player and a more mature character
when did he become a father?
