Yeah he gave the ball away, but I think you'll find it was boumsong who was stood around in the middle instead of going with the man who put the cross in.

Parker almost gave the ball away in a similar position a few seconds before, would you have said the same thing about him??
Right, firstly, if Parker was even playing no I wouldn't say the same about it as he doesn't consistently have a joke of a game week in and week out like shambles! But as Parker isn't even playing, I'm not sure who you mean.....

Secondly, why do people like you even try and defend shambles? It's a disgrace that he is the best centre half that we have, along with boumsong it's like watch the chuckle-****ing-brothers! "to me" "to you" "to me" "to you".......

Shambles mistake cost us the first goal against spurs and he's had a shocker again today..do you remember the reception he got from the Liverfool fans? They cheered him because they know how useless he is, that is embarassing.

Boumsong is not much better, but for people to try and defend shambles is a joke, WAKE UP PEOPLE, he is costing us games!  blueupset.gif

Shambles & Souness = a truly sad future for our club.... bluecry.gif

I am in the Midlands, all my family are geordies, except me, but I have always followed the Toon due to this....

I have just sat my son down (he is 2 in Feb) and apologised to him, for he has been cursed as have I in supporting the Toon....I tried to explain to him that he has some hard, tough times ahead.

How can I bring my son in to this, what kind of dad am I..... blueconfused.gif

We are fooking useless, long have I supported that scottish prick, but not anymore! Get him oot!

Not sure if any of you know anything about actually playing football, you adjust your game and play to your opponents weaknesses.

Arse's weakness is that they don't like a physical game, you only need to look at Wengers reaction after the game, making excuses about the ref etc.

Bolton beat them 2-0 last week because they did what we did today, but do you hear the Bolton fans complaining how they beat them? Exactly.

At the end of the day, the result in tomorrow's paper will be 1-0 to the Toon and 3pts. I couldn't give a fook how we win, just as long as we do.

Some people are too fussy on the style of our wins....  tongue3 tongue3

To be honest, I thought Shearers behaviour was a disgrace. The ref was either biased as ****, bribed or just plain poor. Good 3 points though but another 5 games of Souness.

Go down the road to the stadium of shite, your idiotic comments are not wanted here.

Hey, I´m Swedish! And I think I am entitled to have the opinion that you should respect your fellow professionals and behave in a certain way when playing football. As someone else said somewhere, this isnt boxing.

Right, opinion heard. Now hear mine.

We have been lacking exactly what Shearer (and Parker) gave us today, real fight and determination! That is what got the crowd on the edge of their seats, that is what rattled Arse and that is what eventually won us the game. Arse were too concerned with the fouls etc they weren't getting and lost concentration, we took advantage.

No it isn't boxing, but it isn't fooking kiss chase either!

P.s. Shearer is a living legend.

As said elsewhere

Can't believe the amount of people that are getting on Shearers back for NOT getting sent off! LMAO! Idiots.

It really fooks me off when ManUre fans say to me how dirty Shearer is, hold on a sec, what about Mark Hughes when he was playing? Exactly the same type of player, very physical! But it was ok then, so why not now?

Would you see on any other forum about how dirty one of their own players were? I doubt it very much.

So, we beat Arse 1-0, so what do we concentrate on? We complain that it means Souness will stay on longer and that Shearer should have been sent off cos he's a 'dirty player'

FFS people, we won! Unbelievable....and very boring.....

good performance from faye, shola, boum and bramble Shocked (well much better than usual)

highs in the match:

ramage losing the ball only to completly outpace the arse leftie (hleb?) and to shrug him off the ball.

shola using his stregnth to win us a GK

shola winning us the ball via a tackle on the left

faye tacking someone

parkers whole performance.

arse never once looking like posing any real threat.

Agree to disagree I think. Shola isn't a striker, let alone a left winger. He isn't good enough to be in the starting XI. Compare him to Parker in terms of getting stuck in and looking like they actually care about the team winning. Parker gives absolutely everything!

Boum did okay, but Shambles, are you suuuure? How much longer do we have to put up with watching him put us in danger all the time, it's frightening.

You're right though, Arse only had the Henry chance in first half, but was an easy save for Shay!  bluebiggrin.gif

Well done lads!! GET IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  bluebiggrin.gif bluebiggrin.gif

Honestly, Shearer should be sent off for the tackle towards Campbell.

Happy for the result, sad for the coming consequences.

?

Surely a special mention for Scotty Parker - the guy gives everything and get's stuck in. Were you watching Sven??

I hope he's okay, poor lad.

just looks like you have dropped the camera, loads of colours all i get is sound and bands of crackly colours

You need to download the latest codes from https://www.divx-digest.com/software/acemega_codec.html

This should also fix any other problems you have had mate.

So you can't see the penalty miss? If you can't then I suggest that it is probably your GFX mate  blueconfused.gif

As other people seem to have had no problem with the clip, then I don't know what it could be, but the clip is fairly clear mate. You can make out the ball booming over the bar!  bluebiggrin.gif
