A trip to Ewood in Dec beckons for me, I reckon ! Looking forward to a pint in The Fenhurst.  blueyes.gif

Not good news - we can only wish Michael a speedy and full recovery.

So - no Owen for most of the coming new season - and probably no Dyer as well, knowing his track record too.
3  NUFC Discussion / NUFC Forum / Re: Toon to sue FIFA for £25m. on: June 22, 2006, 12:21:05 AM
I don't really know as to how Freddy could go and sue FIFA - on what grounds ?  Perhaps it's just paper talk, as is the speculation on how long he could be out for. A year ? I hope not !  :thdn:

Cool.

Have been and got a couple of tickets for me and a mate of mine. The venue doesn't look too bad - it's adjoined to the Falcon's ground.

Who from NOL is going ?
6  NUFC Discussion / NUFC Forum / Re: Owen out for 5 months!! on: June 21, 2006, 12:00:25 PM
I have wondered for a few years now if this club is cursed. Nothing that has happened recently (and with the Owen injury) has dis-spelled that for me.

Anyone got a link to confirm ?
8  NUFC Discussion / NUFC Forum / Re: G.R.A.S.S on: June 19, 2006, 06:50:22 PM
I'm gonna head up to get a couple of tickets, tomorrow. :)
9  NUFC Discussion / NUFC Forum / Re: Liverpool bid £6m for Bellamy on: June 19, 2006, 04:12:13 PM
I know where this thread is gonna go, because countless others have gone the same way previously.  :thdn:

I wouldn't mind going - the email address you've provided is duff though !  :thdn: bluebiggrin.gif
11  NUFC Discussion / NUFC Forum / Re: Bowyer has been sold!! on: June 08, 2006, 10:33:01 PM
A good deal for all concerned, I reckon.
12  NUFC Discussion / NUFC Forum / Re: Transfer Rumour - Dyer on: June 03, 2006, 11:50:03 AM
If we can get anything like a reasonable offer for him, I'd take it. He's not worth the vast wages he is paid, and it's time to get shot.
13  NUFC Discussion / NUFC Forum / Re: Kuyt 'toon would be my dream' on: May 21, 2006, 06:35:23 PM
Any update on the legitimacy of the Mirror quotes as yet ?  blueconfused.gif
14  NUFC Discussion / NUFC Forum / Re: Robert. on: May 21, 2006, 06:34:49 PM
Nope - good player on his day, but he is just too damn inconsistent. And he's a troublemaker too.  :thdn:
15  NUFC Discussion / NUFC Forum / Re: Premiership's top goalscorer to date on: May 19, 2006, 01:23:37 PM
I think Al is somewhere around the 260 mark. I thought Andy Cole was his nearest challenger, but Henry must the there or thereabouts in that respect, now.
16  NUFC Discussion / NUFC Forum / Re: Last Player / Players To Come Through Our Youth System And Play For England on: May 17, 2006, 12:31:14 AM
I don't think Carrick has ever been part of the Newcastle youth setup ? Might be wrong though.

I reckon the last one was Steve Howey - Lee Clark doesn't really count, as he was playing for the mackems at the time. As said earlier, hopefully Taylor will be the next one.
17  NUFC Discussion / NUFC Forum / Re: ***WORLD CUP FANTASY FOOTBALL - ENTER NOW!*** on: May 15, 2006, 08:01:01 PM
I'm in - Cambois Rovers.
18  NUFC Discussion / NUFC Forum / Re: That Scarf Thing on: May 12, 2006, 12:10:19 AM
Yup - maybe.

I wonder if the scarf thing is something that we can muster a bit of a campaign for, to do at games, next season ? Just it did look fantastic, and it helped to generate the atmopshere immensely. Surely it wouldn't be a hardship for the majority of us lot to wear/take scarves to games ?
19  NUFC Discussion / NUFC Forum / Re: That Scarf Thing on: May 12, 2006, 12:04:31 AM
That's not taken long, has it ?  :thdn:
