Is that you, Terry?
2  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: To all the people who left early on: Today at 03:39:56 AM
I did celebrate wildly when Clark scored but that was more to do with the fact that I didn't want to give that bunch of ****s the satisfaction of digging their mythical "Top Dogs" trophy out of their wardrobe.
3  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: Mark Hughes on: Today at 03:35:17 AM
To go with tactical acumen? I would say one of them has neither. tongue3

/as I said at the time, his previous managers all said they would work with Bellamy again if they could (even Strachan was gushing in his eulogy).
//but still the misdirected vitriol flew!

Bellamy's scum. If you had met him, you would understand this.

Terry Mac told me.

I rememeber we wore it when we beat Juve 1-0

they were the days, kind of bluecry.gif

He's right, ya know.

Bellamy still didn't play, mind.
5  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: question on: Today at 03:25:20 AM
I have a vague memory of it. I ain't certain.

Was it not the year we went on our run in the Champions League?

Aye.

We only wore that shirt once according to this, which seems right to my recollection - last day of the season vs WBA where Bellamy didn't feature.
6  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: question on: Today at 03:19:48 AM
No, I don't believe he ever did. Don't think he ever played in the shirt, never mind long sleeves. I stand to be corrected though...

Elliott hit a new low today. Absolutely dreadful beyond belief, and that's ignoring the fact that Boro had a good shout for a penalty with his handball.

I got given American Psycho today as a (late) Christmas present. Really enjoyed the film, looking forward to reading it.

"**** there goes my pay-off for another week"

"****in' Mansfield on Saturday and I told the missus I'd take her shopping."

...I'd be as sick as the proverbial chip.

Souness looked disgusted when Clark scored.
12  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: Ameobi Hip Injury on: Yesterday at 08:32:17 PM
Hasn't he just had an op on that hip in the summer?
13  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: Albert Luque: Get Me Out Of Here - I'm A Footballer on: Yesterday at 08:28:13 PM
Thought he was cracking today myself. Didn't stop plenty of people from moaning at him non-****ing-stop for not winning the umpteenth long ball he went up for.
14  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: Albert Luque on: Yesterday at 02:04:13 AM
I don't see any reason it can't be posted except that it may make people suicidal.

No me neither but up to Rocker I suppose.

Ally, Skeletor, check the admin board.
16  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: Albert Luque: Get Me Out Of Here - I'm A Footballer on: Yesterday at 01:42:23 AM
Aye, you're right about Emre, HTT.

He had a couple of games where he was quiet - and the whole team was garbage - and immediately it was "Emre's going missing in games".
17  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: Albert Luque on: Yesterday at 01:39:08 AM
The stuff about Luque, not really. But let's just say if you're right, thank **** we're only playing an off form Middlesbrough.
18  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: Albert Luque: Get Me Out Of Here - I'm A Footballer on: Yesterday at 01:28:58 AM
Excellent article, really puts into words what I'm feeling about the Luque situation and everything else.
19  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: Albert Luque on: January 01, 2006, 09:45:41 PM
In the immediate short term possibly, but how long is Souness going to be around?

If we brought in a proper manager we could get the best out of players like Luque, Emre, Owen and Solano, so I'd rather we kept them and look beyond the Souness era which, let's face it, is the immediate short term. You put any of those four players in a side that plays football and they'll deliver the goods. The Solano we saw under Bobby Robson and the Solano we saw at Villa last season were very different to the Solano we've seen this season. Has he suddenly turned shit?

Yes, and Milner has suddenly turned into a creative goalscorer.

Maybe to those who can't see past the end of their nose for what's really happening.
20  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: Emre on: January 01, 2006, 07:11:21 PM
A lot of people are starting to question whether certain players are good enough. Don't let Souness pull the wool over your eyes, we have the players to finish top 6 every season with points to spare, Bobby proved that with a weaker squad.

If you put Ronaldinho in our team right now he would get slated and told to sod off back to Spain. How can creative, attacking player's work when the ball is lofted over their heads? He's bound to go missing when we keep hoofing it up the field, just like Solano and Luque have gone missing.

Put Emre in any decent Prem team that plays it's football on the ground and you'll want him back immediately. Same goes with Luque, Solano (Villa's top scorer last season) etc.

Do you have to go back to Spain soon?

Can't you just stay here and maintain sanity on the board?
