I've always been curious about how Emil Hallfredsson is doing at Spurs since I'm Icelandic myself.

Martin Jol: Do you think he will get into the first team this season or will he just be playing in the reserves?

Now that Ziegler is gone isn't Reid your only natural left winger?

IMO Emil is really talented and he sounds really eager to play based on what I've heard from him.

I know Hallfy's well thought of and has been playing well in the reserves, but not yet with the right level of consistency.  There's no chance of making the first team squad this season and probably not next either unless it was towards the end of the season.  Cochester did ask about taking him on loan but Spurs said no, didn't want to unsettle a young foreign kid by shunting him about so he stayed with us and Mark Yeates went to Colchester instead.  The plan, so I understand is to let him go on a 3 month loan at the start of next season and see how he fares from there.

Cheers for the info.
