I for one, don't want the diving, cheating little shit. Milner is about a 5th of the price, and the much better option.
yet its fine for two players (one of which is always injured) who fight their own team members AT A HOME GAME and being in the press for the wrong reason alot over their careers, to play for us, but not someone who has dived once or twice for chelsea ( dont most of that team cheat?) THEY might, but WE don't. I'm quite proud that we haven't gone down the road of Chelsea, Liverpool etc, and started diving all over the place. but does that not say something about the way they are coached and so on.. not so much down to the players (in his case) as i dont recall him diving and cheating much if at all at man city.. |

Luque made similar big noises about wanting to join Newcastle so best to weigh up every angle. Having said that, Luque came from nowhere so still can't figure out why we suddenly splashed £10m on him. It seemed a strange deal at the time.
it still does |

Get him signed Glenn. We need to get him before the World Cup, where his price will go through the roof. Don't let this one slip.
100% Yes!
I agree! I think he will go to Man Utd to replace RVN. Not if we give Man Utd. Owen first you seem convinced to tell yourself owen is leaving. why!? |

I thought there was something about a pay as you play thing mentioned if he did come back.
I cannot imagine Leeds having the money to pay him, especially the expensive life style he leads.

Did anyone else see Owen on Sky (or was it ITV? I was channel hopping) earlier this evening on a report about England training camp - he was asked "How's the foot" and he said "Yeah, knew that would be your first question, it's been fine for about two months now...
and I just thought...Owen, you ****!
Does anyone else get the sense that things are happening in the background that we don't know about?
No, didn't think so. Knew it would be me just being paranoid.
just watched ITV news and owen when asked about his injury replied "i haven't been worried about it for about 2 months" was this the same interview ? I heard it on the radio today as well. Seemed a bit odd, but i was pottering, and didn't think about it too much at the time. but saying he hasn't been worried about it for 2 months and he's been fine for 2 months are totally different. if he said he'd been fine in an interview i'd be wanting to question him as to what "fine" meant. Yeah it may have been that very same interview - so did he say he hadn't been worried about it for two months (i.e. did I just mis-hear it? - I was trying to cook my tea at the same time so it is possible) or was it as I heard it - I've been fine for two months... you know, thinking about it, I'm pretty sure he DID say he's been fine for two months... nope i also saw this interview people are going on about, he replied to the question by saying he wasnt WORRIED about it for two months or so.. which doesnt mean he could of played, jsut meant he would be fit in the time he was told i guess (for the world cup).
just get off his back for fuks sake...
always gotta moan bout something you lot. |
