All seems a bit dodgy to me, thought-provoking none the less.

3  NUFC Discussion / NUFC Forum / Re: would you pay £500 for a football match? on: May 21, 2006, 01:39:26 PM
It's a real shame it is so expensive. Doesn't help that most of the tickets are corperate these days.

it's completely illegible, how can you determine what he is going to do from a load of gobbledygook?

Strange how the dutch can read dutch isn't it.

"The injury has been a nightmare," Carr told the club's official website.

"I had the hernia op and felt good after that. But then I tore a muscle on my right side, so that was a killer for me.

"That was harder to heal than the hernia, and it was frustrating to miss so many matches.

Thats why he was out so long, his hernia was healed. If this was caused by being rushed back the muscle would have gone again and not the hernia?

nice to see a player come out at say he doesn't like the long ball tatic. Not that it will make any difference to how souness plays.

13  NUFC Discussion / NUFC Forum / Re: Bridge to Spurs on: January 13, 2006, 01:07:26 AM
I would have thought bridge would have been infront of Pyo in the queue
14  NUFC Discussion / NUFC Forum / Re: How would you have spent it? on: January 13, 2006, 12:57:48 AM
nice thought but your pricings are way off for last summer. Nihat wouldn't have been 2.5m, graveson couldn't have moved could he? van buyten would have been more like 7m+ bridge was injured so wouldn't move + didn't know he was being replaced by del horno and norwich weren't accepting anything for ashton because they wanted to bounce back?

edit: forgot nihat was injured too.
15  NUFC Discussion / NUFC Forum / Re: Bridge to Spurs on: January 12, 2006, 09:50:59 PM
lets face it, even if we were in for him, which is appears we aren't, why would he choose us over spurs? They are playing well and he wouldn't have to move home or live in a hotel for 6months.

Not over by any means if that quote is correct. Just seems he is going for the medical incase the newcastle move doesn't happen and he ends up shaft sociadad.

Newcastle are believed to have offered a trial to French defender Yoann Lachor.

The Lens ace is expected to spend a few days training with the Newcastle squad this week so that Magpies boss Graeme Souness can cast an eye over him.

Souness is keen to add new faces to his squad as his options have been decimated by a crippling injury list this term.

The Magpies have struggled defensively this term and Souness has made defensive reinforcements his top priority in this month's transfer window.

Lachor is thought to be keen on a move away from Lens after dropping down the pecking order at Stade Felix-Bollaert.

The 29-year-old has been linked with a move to England before with Lachor claiming in November that he had held talks with Birmingham.

However, Newcastle could be set to steal a march on their rivals and bring the defender to St James' Park if he impresses during his trial period.

Never Heard of him Neutral

the team vs. liverpool was a complete crock. The only hope about the Charlton team is that luque and n'zogbia needed a bit of a rest, i'm really hope it was that and not that they have just been dropped, at least luque. Hope they luque is back in the team for sat. As always i'm hoping for a win, my heart says we will get a draw at best.
