Have the final word if we were to bring Nihat or Tuncay to the club?

I think players can be important pawns in capturing players, and i was wondering if this could be the case.

Nihat bluebigeek.gif

mate  if we get Nihat..
life is become more beautiful  for us bluebiggrin.gif .

Nihat  La liga's last 3 season goal scorer  leading with Ronaldo.

I wish we can get Nihat .

Howay the Toon.

i find a photo of Emre  bluewink.gif,

at turkish media.

Emre versus Nuri ! at training diary  ->

Nuri the great talent of Turkey .
He is 16 or 17 i gues.. He is future of Turkey maestro . ''as Emres now'' . bluewink.gif

few weeks ago, arsenal  go for him.. but Dortmund say NO.

Nuri play style look like - >Emre .

What a luck of Dortmund..They have Nuri. >future of  Emre.

Anyway,

we should realy go for Tuncay / Nihat .

they are both classy player.

4  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: Emre, is he the new...... on: November 10, 2005, 07:12:25 AM
Hi folks,

I'm new here. I'm a big EMRE supporter, so i became watchful to NUFC. And i have to say, that i'm very very impressed about NUFC. Especially about the atmosphere at St.James. The crowd is awesome. The way how they support 90minutes the team. Regardless of the displayed performance on the pitch. Sipmly great. I have watched many games of Inter. And where is no relation to NUFC. And i never had sympathy for inter. But NUFC are sooooo sweeping. Unbelievable. No wonder that Emre is so thrilled about his new club.
I have found an interview of nobby. Look below....and sorry for my english, guys. It's not perfect, but i hope you can understand me  bluewink.gif

Nobby Solano said some nice things about Emre in a recent interview.

""I looked at the players I'd be playing with on the day I signed and I was hugely impressed. Take the newcomers - Emre is so strong, and has such a footballing brain.

"He's Turkish and he played in Italy's Serie A - that combination tells you how tough he is mentally and able to cope. He's such a nice man too. We call him Benny - you know, after the small cartoon cat!"

Do u know this small cartoon cat?????????

Well Come bluewink.gif .

Foolish decision by the UEFA...

Turkey had the best project/presentation for the tournament while Greece had the 2nd best and Italy had the 3rd best and the others' were totally horrible..

and yet they are still voted for...

Italy wins for sure...It'd be a shame to have the EC in ukr/pol or cro/hun rather than in italy..

Agreed.

6  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: Emre, is he the new...... on: November 10, 2005, 07:01:11 AM
When he came Souness said he can play off the striker, might be worth a try in the cup.

good point.

i remember , when Emre played for inter. at Cuper era,

Emre played striker position at CL match and serie A match. few time. bluewink.gif .

->made a goal versus Levarkusen at CL match.
->made a goal versus Roma at serie A match.

He is our magic maker.

7  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: "Souness' upcoming Turkish sojourn/scouting trip" thread - post Nihat etc up on: November 10, 2005, 06:48:33 AM
Tuncay isn't technical, he can't dribble, he tries though.
But the thing with him is, he started to play as a striker, then
at Fenerbahce they had many quality strikers so they used him on the left.
So therefore his technique isn't great there, but on offense he's explosive and good,
but not efficient yet he's very good for the team.

He has his mishappens, but which player hasn't.
He's worth at least 10 M.

Aside from all of that the kid is special, he's really the heart of your team so to say,
he has that extra touch that few players posses, he can score from everywhere,
with his head, volley, 20 feet. close by, his timing is good but his finishing surprisingly
isn't that good in turkish league BUT is extremely good in the Champions League.
He has a 1 goal per 2 matches ratio, not too shabby I think.
But he gets better and better each time.

He's turkey's next best thing aside from emre, and I would rate him higher then nihat.
Because nihat can score, other then that he's as normal as any other player,
not a good defense, doesn't hustle etc. etc.
But tuncay is the best turkish professional at such a young age.
I'm not kiddin', the kid has fair play written all over him, yet he's 1 of turkey's
most aggressive players.

He can cause a lot of problems for the defenders, he can stretch them out,
and when the team defends he has an amazing counter-attack where he goes 1 on 1 with another teammate and just scores on effort, timing and finishing.

1 of europe's talented youngsters for sure, don't think fener is gonna
sell him for anything less then 15M. euro.

Thanks for the classy comment .mate.

I remember, begin of the season about Emres move from inter to us.

and you made it classy comment about Emres bio, info etc..

so for that ; i trust your comment, and agreed about it.

@

i hope we go for Tuncay.or Nihat.

Thanks again for your great comment. bluewink.gif .

12  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: Question About Emre on: November 08, 2005, 08:44:03 AM
No. If someone comes in with a bid of 12 mill for him, then it would mean hes not injury prone, as few top clubs are willing to shell out large amounts in fees anymore for injury prone central midfielders.

12 mill wouldnt buy a replacement as good as him. Wed end up looking at the likes of Carrick, Rosicky, Guti, etc, all of whom are good midfielders, but not as good as him if were talking about a playmaking allrounder who has everything in his game (dribbling, passing, aggression) to complement Parker, whilst anyone as good as him, or better than him, eg Xavi, Pirlo, Lampard, would cost a bomb and would never come here in the first place.

If however he proves to be injury prone like Dyer, and someone is silly enough to bid 12 mill, then yes, I would sell, but only if we got a decent replacement lined up for months beforehand. The 13 mill we got for an injury prone Woodgate was great, but we look to have compeltely wasted it on Faye, Babayaro and Boumsong (unless the latter not only regains the form of last year but also improves on it). So it would be silly selling Emre and wasting all the money, as hed still play in half the games and can make a big impact even when remotely fit.

Emre was never a injury prone it is true he didnt played much last 2 seasons in Inter but they have 40 man Squad there almost all Internationals . and when u have a manager called Mancini who preffer to play his ex Friends from lazio . then u wont play much games and they make up fake storys about player Injuries alot in Italie .Good cover for the papers after a Lost Game .

if Emre was a injury Prone he wouldnt able to play any games after the tackles he did receive at wigan and Sunderland Game .Someone is Only a injury Prone when his Body doesnt Heal quikly as anyone else . example Dyer . i did say this when emre didnt play 1 min for Newcastle He is not a Injury Prone.

Agreed.

IMO, we'll be seeing 2 of the best 3 midfield pairings against each other that day. (Lampard & Makelele v Emre & Parker....Gerrard & Alonso is the other pairing in the top 3).

Yes.

Owen & Shearer  comments ---->

Quote
Magpies buoyed by returning stars :

Michael Owen and Alan Shearer believe Newcastle can start living up to expectations now that key players are returning from injury.

Owen took his goal tally for the Magpies to four in five games with a brace in the 3-0 win over West Brom at The Hawthorns, with Shearer coming off the bench to move within three of Jackie Milburn's club record of 200 goals.

Shearer said: "We have always said 'give the manager a chance and judge him when everyone is fit' - and slowly but surely over the last couple of weeks, the players have been coming back."

Of significance for manager Graeme Souness is having the likes of midfield duo Belozoglu Emre and Kieron Dyer back available.

The pressure that Souness was reported to be under seemed a million miles away as Newcastle strode to a third win in the space of a week.

Shearer added: "Emre makes a big difference to us and Kieron came on against West Brom and set up a couple of goals.

"We've still got Albert Luque and Lee Bowyer and one or two others to return but the majority are back now and that's a performance we hope we can carry on with."

Owen said: "Let's hope everyone stays fit now. You are always going to have one or two injured players but not seven, eight, nine, 10 like we have had.

"When Kieron came on, he looked lively. He is a rare player who can beat players with pace and those type of players are exciting to watch. We are getting a few players back from injury now."

Owen admitted: "It's time for me to start playing more games as well. I had two dead legs and a tight hamstring and have only started five games."

Agreed, some people just don't know how to enjoy a win anymore and its sad! They seem to prefer to moan about losing the game we haven't even played yet than bask in the glory of a 3-0 WIN
I do Agree with you Jon.

Classy one.

Thanks.

this is the first time for a long time that i have been so excited about newcastle. beat the mackems, came through a potential banana skin in the cup then destroyed west brom away. all of our players are virtually back now as well. next week we should gain another 3 points against birmingham, then we have a 2 week break for luque bowyer and maybe boumsong (as i noticed he was taken off for a knock). The starting line up will be awesome then we go to stamford bridge and WIN, i can realy see it happening.

that's more like it!  bluebiggrin.gif
Agreed.
