It's probably Souness' fault.  bluewink.gif
2  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: Has Souness already been sacked on: Yesterday at 05:06:09 PM
He'll be gone tomorrow morning bluecool.gif
Yeah I agree with that, press conference at 12.  bluebiggrin.gif
3  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: How would you react to the appointment of Allardyce?? on: Yesterday at 03:11:48 PM
I want to see  Allardyce to be our new boss, will he want us? I hope so, I'll stand by this if he comes and does badly but Big Sam doesnt do badly.

I felt something nice had to be said about Souness, there is too many idiots wishing him to die and things like that.
5  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: Souness on the brink! on: Yesterday at 02:57:15 PM
Well as Souness' time looks to be over as our manager I am probably one of a minority that wishes Souness the very best in the rest of his career and life. Results didn't go our way but he didn't appoint himself. He always paid us (the fans) great tributes, I would have liked it to work out for him here. But it doesn't look possible. I think he should go now but would like to say Good luck Graeme.

Moyes took Everton to 4th last year and they could be relegated this year.

The past is no guide to the future!!!
But it's a good indication!

How about getting in Alain Perrin, sure he's a top boss. He did a shocking job at Pompey but that's in the past and is no indication for the future. Sooner the better people realise the big name managers won't want us.  Do you blame them?
7  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: Recalling our loan players on: Yesterday at 02:36:46 PM
Viana will come back if he is going to start for us.
8  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: Robert goes for free! on: Yesterday at 02:24:44 PM
Good ridance, Thanks for good times when you tried. But it's money the club needs.
9  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: 1 hour into the meeting... on: Yesterday at 01:45:05 PM
Sure is, and I hear that young Spaniard Ivan Campo wants to leave too!
I personally think Campo would be a good signing for us, centre half.

So the Shevchenko and Kaka double signing is going ahead then?
Is that your code name for Davies and Nolan?  bluebiggrin.gif
11  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: midfield on: Yesterday at 12:56:07 PM
Get Hugo Viana back here, he is our player, we need him. What's the problem? He will get to play regularly and we will save money.
12  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: TEAM FOR THE WEEKEND! on: Yesterday at 12:53:37 PM
According to nufc.com Apparently fit: Given, Harper, Caig, Elliott, Babayaro, Ramage, Boumsong, Clark, Solano, Shearer, Brittain, Chopra, Luque, N'Zogbia (14)

Injured: Owen, Taylor, Emre, Dyer, Moore, Ameobi, Parker (7)  Doubtful: Carr, Bramble (2)
Suspended: Bowyer (1)International Duty: Faye (1)
Loaned: Butt, Milner, Robert, Viana (4)
Untried: Smylie, Pattison, Huntington, Gate, O'Brien (5)

No point risking people in this one anyway! so based on that i'd go:

                          Harper
Huntington Ramage  Boumsong  Babayaro
Solano        Clark       N'zogbia    O'brien
                   Shearer    Luque

Subs
Caig (give given time off if he needs it to rest his thumb)
Gate
Elliott
Brittain
Chopra
Swap Ramage and Paul Huntington and it's right.

It doesn't just rain, it ****ing pours.  bluecry.gif
14  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: Danny Murphy on: Yesterday at 12:27:42 PM
We now definelty need another mid-fielder so Murphy would be a good option in my opinion. He's a good preo and he will create goals and also score a few as well.
15  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: Viana on: Yesterday at 01:33:46 AM
Get him back now.
16  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: Souness on the brink! on: Yesterday at 12:26:00 AM
Big Sam can have millions to spend here and can hit his potential here. He can become a top top boss and at a top club.
17  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: Souness on the brink! on: Yesterday at 12:17:51 AM
Big Sam is the one I want personally.
18  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: Newcastle V Middlesboro (full game) on: January 03, 2006, 11:46:07 PM

19  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: Who's name is on the back of your shirt? on: January 03, 2006, 11:38:13 PM

Taylor on the away

Parker on the third kit
20  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: SSN Form Table on: January 03, 2006, 03:09:01 PM
The form table really depresses me because there is only about 2-3 teams coming near their potential. To think if we had everyone fit or got on a good role we would be up in 4th or even 3rd. And we are in 11th. It's sad really, there isn't a great deal between us and them, maybe a new manager might help us and a few new players but we have the makings of a good side. Worldclass goalkeeper in Given, excellent mid-fielder in Parker and a fit Michael Owen is as good as anyone really. We need to sort out the defence. Ity's what will win or lose us matches.
