1  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: Souness on the brink! on: Today at 05:48:16 AM
Would I be able to put up with his long ball shit and his constant ****ing whinging and whining, while in the same sentence defending El Hadji Diouf for whatever despicable act he's committed this time?

I think the bloke's a total cockend. Knows how to keep players fit, that's about all I can say for him. We should be aiming a lot higher.

that's how we appoint managers issnt it?

we have an injury crisis, so appoint one who can keep our players fit. must be true then the rumours.
2  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: The Late Clark Goal on: Yesterday at 02:00:37 PM
I have'nt heard many people say much about it. It's all anti-souness ( like most of my posts ) but are any of you happy that he scored even though it kept Soumess in a job . I am becasue on the pitch i want us to get all three points irrespective of if it means it will affect off pitch things. But in some very very very rare cases if its between a DRAW and maybe Souness out, i may have a small feeling that the one point dropped would do us a hell of alot of good. Also with the way the season is going we are'nt really contending for anything so it would not do damage to our season becasue it is all ready badly ****ed. Today was prime example , if Clark did'nt score, there would be alot more protesting, Fat Fred would have been under intense pressure along with Sou, the media would have picked up on this and it may make his position to hard to keep. But it is against the Boro so i am glad we picked up points up against them even though in the long term it is worse for our club.

after hasselbaink scored my immediate reaction was "F**K!... then i thought, 'maybe that's the end of souness' and i smiled.

after clark scored i jumped for joy, then the thought of souness stayin on overwhelmed me and i sat down.

4  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: Vs Boro - Player Ratings on: January 02, 2006, 05:18:55 PM
matchpoints

luque - shite, missed sitter, no goals
elliot - shite, better off with the falcons, if he wants to play rugby in the penalty box
bramble - just shite.
boumsong - shite, all over the place
clark - shite, saved souness's job
solano - shite, missed header from 3 yards.
babayaro - shite, always caught out of position

i think if wenger is looking to replace bergkamp he should be looking no further than our very own shola... i mean look at his threaded pass to shearer at the end of the first half. pure class. someone send him a video quick!
6  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: ***Official January Transfer Window Thread*** on: January 01, 2006, 10:58:49 AM
Acoording to the NOTW this is what will happen to us:

In: Anelka, Bridge, Huth

Out: Bowyer, Bramble, Faye

thoughts?

in : a striker a leftback and CB

out : CB and 2 central midfielders.

do the maths
7  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: Was it wise to risk all on Owen? on: December 31, 2005, 06:58:03 PM
his absence gives us a good reason to hijack nihat from moscow.
8  Chat / General Chat Forum / Re: FM 2006 on: December 29, 2005, 02:59:43 PM
roman bednar is a pretty decent striker (below 100k) if you're in the lower leagues.

9  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: Spurs (a) predictions? on: December 29, 2005, 08:34:21 AM
we'll win
10  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: Mikael Silvestre on: December 28, 2005, 03:35:43 PM
he's been the worst defender for manure this season, according to my manc mate. probably still better than babayaro at leftback though.
11  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: Newcastle vs Charlton on: December 27, 2005, 10:37:31 AM
cant see us getting a win against charlton tbh. not when they've lost 8 of their last 9. perfect timing to play us really.
12  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: Sir Bobby vs. Souness (Compilation) on: December 26, 2005, 09:43:00 AM
nice compilation. enjoyed it. thanks.
13  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: Centre defense covered? on: December 26, 2005, 06:17:11 AM
The problem at the moment is there just isn't any quality right backs around, not one's for sale anyway...

Thats why I think we'd be better off making Taylor our regular right back until such time when one becomes available and bring in a new CB instead, Distin springs to mind...

a strange one but, how about emerton? playing in midfield now for blackburn but going by his performances for feyenoord he could do a fantastic job for us at rightback. he doesnt like playing there though.
14  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: Cassano. on: December 25, 2005, 06:03:22 PM
went to inter in the summer along with figo and solari
15  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: Scott Parker & Concussion on: December 22, 2005, 04:42:37 PM
concussion should be taken very seriously as even mild ones will cause permanent damage to the brain, even if very little. which is why repeated concussion could be very dangerous, especially in a short span of time.
16  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: Behind Enemy Lines: Liverpool on: December 22, 2005, 02:55:44 PM
70% of the questions are about liverpool. im not sure if many people are really interested in that crap tongue3 'cause i dont. rather more questions about newcastle instead.

just some feedback.

We already know his views on Newcastle, because he's done three of these now.

fair enough but situation changes and view changes so it doesnt mean we cant ask about newcastle anymore. no offence really, its just that i rather read more on newcastle than anything else and i suspect the same for many others on here. still a good interview though.

I'll pass on your comments to the editor Wink

aye, now i see why we havent seen souness sacked, dyer decapitated, stroller put in a circus where he belongs, and the ban on standing lifted bluelaugh.gif

18  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: Toon Eye Joaquin Swoop on: December 22, 2005, 02:29:18 PM

he has had an off season so far this year, but over the last couple, inconsistensy isnt a word i would use.

Yes it is actually. He's never been the kind of player to play well every game of the season.

since when has a winger played well every game of the season anyway? maybe i need some reminding 'cause i dont remember any.
