Alex,

I'm not trying to convince you of anything, just chatting, I have no answers.
Are you aware that science itself has stopped dealing in facts or concrete terms?

At the sub-atomic level, there are quantum forces that seem chaotic and don't seem to
follow any rules....Neutrionos for example seem to be able to 'think' or 'be-influenced'
by scientists who are viewing the experiment.

Sceince has already moved on from the age of certainty... facts if you like.
The simple rules of science have broken down and many nobel prize winners won their
prizes for research in these areas.

We now know that the furthest starts in the sky died long ago and we only see their travelling
light so it looks like they are still there.

Gravity is another example, people seem to accept it, it has become common parlance.
But can a scientist tell you exactly what it is or how it works? No.
They still haven't decided if it is a force or a wave, why density is more important than mass...etc etc..
The fact as we are now discovering is THAT THERE ARE NO FACTS.

heres some facts......

gravity has been shown to work........

ask christians what religion they are ???? ask them what religion their saviour jesus christ was????are these people telling their saviour he got it wrong??????

THERE ARE NO FACTS?????....(sure the regulars can see whats comimg here....)...so if i tell you that there are a breed of 12ft green and brown striped mice in the yet unexplored amazon(there is loads yet to explore..in borneo theyr'e finding 3 new species a month),you'll tell me "i can't disprove it so it could be true"

Heh.  Ian Ostrich.

Still baffled why we ended out with him, sort of reminds you things could be worse.  Or could it.

In saying that, I remember the winner he got against Everton in the Cup.

was it cause shearer and asprilla both got long term injuries...but few players could be persuaded to come as the y wouldn't have a place in 3 months...or we knew we had players to come back so were loathe to buy new ones....you decide ?

4  Chat / General Chat Forum / Re: Did the CIA give Iran the bomb? on: January 11, 2006, 12:40:37 AM
indigo...that was a post i would have made(apart from the iran weapon programme being mostly bluff),but didn't have the patience.but you missed two variables out ISRAEL and US.no doubt ,fitting into the perspective given the invasion of iraq wouldn't have taken place.

US attacak on iran---likely but not yet

US invasion of iran---no chance for a long while

6  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: Newcastle's most influential ever player? on: January 11, 2006, 12:31:05 AM
Yeah, I meant McCraken as well. Dunno why I get those olde tyme players confused - probably the lack of DVD highlights.

Must have been something supporting a team that actually won things back then.

doesn't matter....you can't change now!!!!!
7  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: Garrincha's Autobiography.... on: January 10, 2006, 11:27:13 PM
din't garrincha have one leg longer than the other(or three legs of different lengths if the stories are true)and that lead to his joint trouble(knee, hips and back--yes i know the back aint a joint but i'm on a roll)and kept on playing long after he should have packed in.

SBR's autobiog......thanks for all the good he done for us,but i wouldn't trust one word of his biog.
8  Chat / General Chat Forum / Re: Did the CIA give Iran the bomb? on: January 10, 2006, 11:08:39 PM
very interesting situation there right now. if the US wanted to attack irans atomic agencies, would syria side with iran with anything more than words(as it's not an invasion),would israel let the US go it alone, would the US go it alone, what would the others,ie egypt and jordan do,would it lead to a destabilising in saudi, pakistan and jordan, would the US go ahead without the support of the EU,or even just little old us.

all this and more on SOAP!
9  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: Is Souness trying to injure our players? on: January 10, 2006, 10:52:05 PM
so he's quite sure the training pitches were to blame for the injuries to the first team squad...were any measures taken to remedy the problem,if not who's decision was it send the youth team there ?

14  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: 9 Goals so far. on: January 08, 2006, 01:01:20 AM
Then count how many league games he's played after Bellamy departed then count back a similar number before he departed and you'll see the goals dried up rather quickly at just about that EXACT time.
Coincidence?

is that some mathematical formula (x-t=t*...where is the squared symbol????),you could look at shearers affectivness in the same manner...which one made the other ????shearers flourished elsewhere, bellamy not so much, the two were good together, however to say our downturn is down to bellamy, could it not be down to shearer not being able to do it,starnge as when bellamy was good, shearer was also still quite sharp, maybe it was complimentary but now shearer is passed it.
15  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: 9 Goals so far. on: January 08, 2006, 12:54:46 AM

17  Newcastle-Online Forum / NUFC Forum / Re: 9 Goals so far. on: January 08, 2006, 12:48:07 AM
We played him on the wing.

Anyway it's Alan Shearers goal tally that dried up when he went. Fact!

on the wing ??? for 3 seasons ??????,could shearers tally have dried up because shearer isn't the man he was....just a thought.
