Rather than copying and pasting them try making a folder somewhere and saving the pics from the internet into there. Then in Word go to 'Insert -> Picture -> From File...'.
tried that, it came up with:
an error occured when inserting image: bla bla...
thanks matey but I do know how to do the copy and paste stuff, I just cant get this computer to do it, i can do it at school tho... |

I won't be able to watch the show as I don't live in England but for those of you who are interested the saying "Money is the route of all evil", I think likely originates from the Bible, however it is not the same as is written in the Bible, which potentially changes some of the meaning. The King James version has it as:
"10For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows." - 1 Timothy 6:10
in the New King James Version it has been translated to:
*"10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows."
-1 Timothy 6:10
This is even more different from the popular saying in my opinion, especially as it says "a" route of all kinds of evil rather than the route of all evil.

I need pictures for my geography coursework, butwhen I copy and paste them intoword i get nowt and when i do it into publisher i get numbers and crap.
How can I get it to work like all the other computers in the world?
Is it something to do with macro's cos I have changed them before and it has worked momentarily...
help is much appreciated.

It's a misattributed quote, nothing to do with any head of Nintendo US or anything else. It was from a comic, I forget his name though but he has a website somewhere.
I know Marcus Bridgstocke used that joke when he did his episode of the Jack Dee show.....

She and another guy (sgrey) set up a general chat thread, in which you could talk aboot owt, and they got slated over and over again for having this thread, so they left the forum and went to another one. |
