Title: Souness Speaks
Post by: Wiley on October 23, 2005, 04:52:28 PM
interview with souness after the game,he looked VERY releived!  blueyes.gif

https://news.bbc.co.uk/sol/ukfs_sport/hi/av/bb_rm_fs.stm?

"The first half belonged to us - we totally dominated and scored two good goals but Sunderland had two shots and scored two spectacular goals.

"We have huffed and puffed recently but we have not had our special players on the pitch. We have not been scoring.

"But today we had players on the pitch who can make things happen."

Still not good enough im afraid, ameobi had one of those days when a few things went for him when really he is shite, still cannot control a football & boumsong wants half an hour on the ball...happy after this win, hell no!!...the second half proved that,we were under the cosh near the end and thats not on in a derby, hanging on in there fighting for a 3-2 win,no thank you!getting the ball in the corners to waste time against a side like that,do me a favour...

it just covered up the cracks & saves his bacon for a few more games ffs

Yeah, we've problems. But we've just won a massive game.

If you can't be happy after this, if only for one day, I feel sorry for you.

The problems will still be there tomorrow, enjoy the win while it's here.
