Title: Bobby Thompson. Post by: pudmag on October 01, 2005, 12:57:51 AM I bought the bobby thompson dvd for my fella for his birthday, and we watched it tonight. Shock, horror, I remembered it from first time around, word for word, more or less!! blueeek.gif
Strange that as a teen i didn`t find it that funny, but we both roared tonight. My bloke is irish, but we`ve lived up here now for 10 years. I`m not so sure he`d have been able to follow some of the lingo before that!!! bluebiggrin.gif Does anyone know when he died, and where he was from?? The documentary mentioned wearside county durham, and biddick colliery, so i`m presumming washington area?? blueconfused.gif Title: Re: Bobby Thompson.
