I think it is worth seeing as some parts are actually complimentary towards you as a fan, and it always feels good to be complimented.

Actually I reckon you added more than you took away - I definitely didn't write that bit about Jaws being shown in the cinema next door

I'd like the reviews section to build up so if anyone wants to review some Toon related stuff for it, get writing.

We have the following up to now:

https://www.newcastle-online.com/nufcreviews/

The idea is to get companies to give us some freebies to give away as prizes so I guess the more reviews in there, this will tempt companies to give us some free stuff.

I cut out the sex scenes and the homoerotic ramblings you seemed to have towards the main lead.

Thanks for the review, I suppose I am less likely to see it now.

I appreciate the honesty.

It's not something I'd even watch if it was on telly.

Does anyone think this film will do the club any good? Will it bring tangible rewards?

To be honest, fans watching in Asia or the Americas that know little about the club might think we play in Inter Milans colours (last years away kit) and go out and buy an Inter Milan kit.

Why didn't they use the black & white stripes? Seems very odd to me.

black and white stripes were used half the time, but for some reason for many of he games were against teams in white, hence the away strip. I was saying what I said half-jokingly, only the not too bright who know absolutely nothing about football would think we play in inter milan colours.

Been to see it tonight, and I thought it was canny - a definite feel-good factor to it. It's not going to win any Oscars that's for sure, but it was worth going to see, IMO. :)

Good review lad. I heard the fella jefferies actually wanted this to be set in Liverpool originally, but then something to do with adidas and reebok stopped it going through.

Probably a good thing by the sound of your review.

I just want to know why the hell they can't make good footy films without making them so unrealistic and corny.
