yeah midfield looks completely offensive with no defensive midfielder to be seen. I think we will definitely score but i also think Wigan can score too because we will be open at the back. This could be a high scoring one guys

yea i thought that. There isnt one player on that bench who could change the game for us. We need to have a strong start. Roeder is obviously hoping we start well so he can take people off in orderto rest them for monday. We may have a very attacking starting 11 but we have a very defensive bench!

Most of you will call me stupid for suggesting this, but if I was the man in charge, I'd play like this today:

A 4-3-3 formation...

The reason I wouldn't play Dyer is that I honestly believe he will break down today and miss the mackems game.. I'd also want to see what Luque can do during 90 min..

what do people think about boa morte/luque? at the time we didn't want to pay £5m for boa morte, but then went for luque and paid £9m... after what we've seen with luque, do people think we should have signed boa morte, already scored twice today but has a rather quiet season...

Since Man United won the Carling Cup, 5th and 6th places are UEFA Cup unless the above situation occurs.

If Middlesbrough win the UEFA Cup and reach the FA Cup final, 7th place will be UEFA Cup place, if not then 7th place will be the Intertoto Cup place.

we would be playing more than two extra games though than you would with a UEFA Cup place so I am right ;)
