Post by: jackyboy on December 23, 2005, 08:32:23 PM
Just been on BBC sport that Wayne Bridge could be going to Fukham on loan until the end of the season.

Souy should get his arse into gear

Cant see why it would effect them to loan him to us..not like were gonna catch chelsea...unless they really want to keep him by sending him out somewere he's not gonna want a permenant move too..

why do they owe us any favours?

a stronger newcastle team can effect his own teams aspirations having to play them once more and poss cups aswell, though as i said above can't see him being a great signing as he's been out so long, rare any player can just step back in.

fit or not he'd immediately become our best full back by a mile, great great player and would be a ****ing joke if we let Fulham get him

Out of curiosity, why is that relevant?

FA rules don't allow loaned players to play against their contracted clubs.

I was under the impression that Moriniho doesnt like loaning players out? He obviously doesnt like Bridge (Footballing wise) otherwise Bridge would be included in his squad but i havent even seen Bridge on the bench. Bridge is in the same situation Parker was in, A new manager comes in and he isnt in his plans. I dont think Bridge will go out on loan, I think he'll be sold. We aint no threat to Chelsea so i cant see why we wont have a chance of getting him

I thought it was up to the two clubs to decide that

If souey does'nt make a move for Bridge i will be very surprise, he has already spoken of his admiration of him.

It will really be up to chelsea where he goes imo.

p.s. it is up to the club loaning the player out whether he can play against them or not, it has nothing to do with teh FA, remember Lua Lua?

That was the situation last season. But now the FA have banned any loan player from playing against his parent club.

Don't think he doesn't like him, same way he didn't not like Parker.  He just doesn't have any room for them.  I'd be shocked really if Bridge is still at Chelsea in February.

Maybe he will go to Fulham on loan simply because he doesn't need to move houses for the loan perion. :(

Incidently the FA rules are that a loaned player cannot play against the side that owns his registration. Previously it was worked out between clubs.

He would just live in a hotel or rent a flat, most players seem to do that when they go out on loan :)
