Newcastle-Online.com Team: Stephen Kelly

The Team
Although a football fan from an early age, for many years Stephen Kelly never supported any particular team. This changed, however, upon witnessing a Peter Beardsley inspired Newcastle side tear Wimbledon apart in the early part of the 93/94 season, Pedro grabbing a hat-trick.

From hundreds of miles away in Ireland, Stephen has since relentlessly followed the Toon in a country densely over-populated with Man United and Liverpool fans.

His favourite Toon players in his era supporting them are Beardsley, Asprilla, Albert, Lee and, of course, Shearer.

Now aged 21, Stephen is just finished in college. Having recently discovered Newcastle-Online.com, he saw the site as a great way to mix his passions, Newcastle United and writing.
