Newcastle-Online.com Team: Richard Huggan

19 on August 28th 2005, Richard has been following United for 12 years now, since watching his first match: the 7-1 victory over Leicester City broadcast live on Tyne-Tees television back in 1993.

A prospective history, English and psychology student at Newcastle University, he has a season ticket in the front row of the Gallowgate End with his younger brother and also plays bass guitar in local band OuterState-4.

Born and bred in Wallsend, the columnist has recently moved to West Jesmond to live with three close friends and uses the alias "Atticus" on the Newcastle-Online forum, where he is also a moderator.

A new writer here, Richard hopes to have a future in either sports broadcasting or journalism when his education is complete and his ambition is to immigrate to Southern California for work purposes before the age of thirty.
