Goal! Movie Review (29/9/2005) |
Saturday afternoons are for me traditionally days for me to sit on
my backside and follow the fortunes of my beloved club through live
television, radio coverage, final score, or even by attending the
occasional away match. But on Saturday 24th September 2005, my mind
made an executive decision over my heart to blank out the Newcastle
Vs Manchester City score all afternoon and instead watch the extended
Football First highlights later on in the evening.

Clear Cut album review (1/6/2005) |
Clear Cut are a relatively new Geordie band hailing from the West
End of Newcastle and what started out as a gathering of good friends
in a Tyneside kitchen, the foursome - consisting of composer, musician
and vocalist Paul Dixon, vocalist John Anderson and songwriters/lyricists
Alfred & Irving (Toon Ale) Graham - have went on to produce a fantastic
debut album titled 'Geordie Gizza Bit from Cradle to the Grave' which
has went into full production and is available to buy now

Newcastle United Vs Manchester City 1955 FA Cup Final DVD
(25/3/2005) |
When I was presented with the opportunity to review this unique piece
of Toon history I almost wet my pants. The history of the club and
those that wrote it (the players and managers alike) has always fascinated
me to the point of obsession at times and as someone who is a student
of Newcastle United's glorious history if you like, I couldn't wait
to sit down and watch the likes of Bob Stokoe, Bobby Mitchell, Len
White, Vic Keeble and of course the legend that is Wor very own Jackie
Milburn in action. Plus, it's not every day you get to see your own
club lift a trophy, especially if you happen to follow the Toon.
