Here we breakdown each individual's player rating from every match and provide an average rating based on the number of games a player has played and a total rating based on each mark awarded which we calculate at the end of every game. These ratings will be used to determine Newcastle-Online.com's official player of the month and season awards and help us and you lot gauge a player's performance game by game and over the cause of the season. Additional Ratings Information

For every man of the match award (MOM) an extra mark is awarded.

Each player of the month is awarded 3 extra marks.

For every goal scored an extra mark is awarded to the individual goalscorer.

For every sending-off 3 marks are deducted.

If a player picks up more than 3 red cards at the end of the season 10 marks are deducted.

If a player picks up more than 10 bookings at the end of the season 6 marks are deducted.

If a 'keeper keeps over 10 clean sheets at the end of the season an extra 10 marks are awarded.

If a player scores 20 or more goals at the end of the season an extra 10 marks are awarded.

If a player plays more than 38 games at the end of the season (including sub appearances) an extra 10 marks will be awarded.

If a player plays in every single game (including sub appearances) an extra 5 marks on top of the 10 for playing over 38 games will be awarded.

If a player for one reason or another plays under 20 games at the end of the season (including sub appearances) 10 marks will be deducted.

Notes: Players with a strike-through their name have either been sold or have been loaned out for the season.
