Opinion: SoccertainmentAlthough I have to agree with many of Gaz Pearson's sentiments in his article 'Football, Boring? No Way!' I think there’s a bigger picture to look at. At the end of the day, what Italian’s called football in the 90’s was terrifyingly efficient. Report: Toon Fans Big Hit With Cardiff LocalsIn a poll conducted by the Cardiff Initiative, an organisation promoting Cardiff City, Newcastle fans were voted as the friendliest visitors of all fans who have traveled to the City in the past five years. Locals, businesses, pub owners, hoteliers and bus operators alike all voted for the Magpie faithful ahead of Liverpool, Man Utd, Arsenal fans and the Smoggies amongst others. Poll results in full (number of visits): 1: Newcastle United (1) 2: Liverpool (5) 3: Manchester United (6) 4: Millwall, Norwich, Cheltenham (1) 7: Arsenal (9) 8: Chelsea (3) 9: Tottenham Hotspur (1) 10: Middlesbrough (1) Just a shame our team were crap on the day.
