Ramage Turn Around
Toon defender Peter Ramage has decided to sign a 3 year contract after
all. Yesterday we reported that he had turned down a contract offer
and would be on his way. But assurances from Graeme Souness that the
Whitley Bay youngster will figure in his plans looks to have swayed
his decision.
Ramage had this to say:
I am delighted to have signed a new contract. I have been here
for over ten years and Newcastle United is my club - to be given the
opportunity to prove myself here at first team level is all I want."
Good news, although the length of the contract seems a tad excessive.
