Bellamy Gets His Wish

Today's Chronicle have revealed that a new pitch is to be re-layed at St. James' Park today, in time for our 4th Round FA Cup clash with Coventry City. Craig Bellamy has been critical of the pitch in recent weeks claiming it has hampered his game so a new playing surface will be music to his ears. Whether it will improve our form at the Old Gallowgate remains to be seen.

Those with good memories will have noted that this time last season, Sir Bobby Robson had also criticised the pitch but pleas to get it re-layed fell on deaf ears.
