Newcastle have even more injury problems as they prepare for the match agianst Norwich City tomorrow night. Aaron Hughes is the latest player to be announced injured with the Irishman needing a hernia operation.

He follows Jermaine Jenas (calf), Titus Bramble (groin) and Celestine Babayaro (hamstring) who are all out of the match on Wednesdsay. This on top of the suspensions of Keiron Dyer and Lee Bowyer.

Time For Big, Big Changes: FS, GS & AS Must All Go!

I am sat here absolutely numb. I wonder how many others out there are feeling the same? I feel embarrassed and ashamed; I hope the players are too. The performance yesterday was disgusting. Each and every one of those players let the club, themselves and most importantly the fans down, and I mean everyone, including Alan Shearer. I am not afraid to say it but the time has come for big, big changes at St. James' Park from top to bottom.

FA Cup Semi-Final: NUFC 1-4 MUFC

Newcastle's season came to a horrible end at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium yesterday afternoon as Graeme Souness' bunch of no hopers were thrashed and humiliated by Sir Alex Ferguson's Manchester United.

The Red Devils soon raced into a 2-0 lead with goals from Ruud Van Nistelrooy and Paul Scholes on the stroke of half-time as the current holders looked to put the game to bed and that's what they did. Moving the ball with pace and precision the Mancs tore at United, toying with them and producing a master-class in ball retention.

Newcastle on the other hand struggled to pass the ball 5 yards and looked punch drunk, no organisation, spirit or fight. By half-time the game was over.

After the break Man Utd carried on where they left off and soon grabbed a 3rd with Nicky Butt helping out his fellow team-mates with an inexcusable misplaced pass. The ball eventually ended up at Van Nistelrooy's feet and the Dutchman, without a goal in 8 games prior to this match, stroked home for his second.

A minute later Shola Ameobi, one of just a few who can hold his head high this morning, picked up a pass from Alan Shearer, cut inside the box and squirmed a right-footed pass underneath Tim Howard to make it 3-1.

That seemed to spur on the Black & Whites for a spell but Man Utd added a 4th with just under 15 minutes to go, Christiano Ronaldo getting on the score sheet, to wrap the game up.

So the hopes and dreams of thousands once more get shattered by a United said who failed to turn up. No movement, no control, no organisation, no spirit, no fight, no skill, no ability, poor attitudes, poor passing, poor poor Toon fans. We didn't deserve that and those masquerading as professional players certainly didn't deserve the magnificent support they received.

Gutted!
