As A Blackpool fan,we got it dead right with Allardyce,we sacked him for failing to get us promoted.Trust me he is all mouth constantly moaning. As an example when is he going to take the Beeb to court over the slanders ? don't hold your breath. My advice is get rid ASAP regards MichaelP.

Just re-reading this and re-thinking about things, I was in favour of continuing to give him time before the Liverpool game.

However, his tactics, formation and substitutions on Saturday were the actions of a fraud way out of his depth.

We're chasing a home game... Lets take off the closest thing we have to a creative central midfielder and put on a defensive one.... I'm a genius.

We're chasing a home game some more... We need creativity.... Lets put on one of our two best creative players... Who should I take off.... The other of our two best creative players... I'm a genius.

F*** it we've lost.... I know, for a laugh I'll take off one of the rising stars of Spain and put on an average championship standard player out of position in his place... I'm a genius.

Can someone seriously tell me what in gods name Samn was thinking?!??!!?

I am entirely perplexed by the tactis that Sam has employed. It has been tried and tested at the club that square pegs in round holes doesn't work. We have had (not solely because of injury the following players playing out of their natural position:

Smith, Milner, NZogbia, Owen, Carr, Emre, Geremi.

Absolutely baffling! I was looking forward to seeing someone with some tactical nous after the debacles of Souness and Roeder. But why can everyone see not to take NZogbia off against Liverpool, little need to take Enrique off to be replaced by a second rate right back in Carr.

VERY CONFUSED

well written article though i would disagree with one statement that you made in saying that selling dyer was a bad decision. he was without doubt one of the biggest wastes of space i have ever seen in a black and white shirt and the day west ham paid us 7 million for him was a happy day

"I’ve yet to meet a fan who even privately wants rid, let alone one that’s gone so far as to try starting a chant of “We want fat Sam out” which would surely be met by derision from all around."

You need to get out more!

I wonder; is anybody paying Sam to take NUFC down?
His tactics is tragic. With his way of managing, the best players will search for another club. And that's understandable. NUFC have no use in Martins f.ex. when they not play attacking football.

Well, we've certainly gained more consistancy under Allardyce. We've gone from really trying against only the top four to not really trying at all. And to think we could've had Eriksson...

Since writing this Newcastle fans have well and truly let Ashley know they want rid. Personally I think that would be a mistake, but it does discredit a few of the presumptions I made when writing the article.

Well. Something has to give after today. His tactics, team and substitutions at Liverpool were all wrong, wrong, wrong. I think Sam is actually worse than McLaren
