Bad game, but great result, Dodds was right when he said about Liverpool, Chelsea etc playing badly that it is a sign of a great team. We aren’t a great team but we are a very good one and we showed signs today that we are a very good team. Watford surprised me, they played better than I thought they would. Finally looks like Oba has finally arrived and I am so happy for him and for the team.
P.S the atmosphere was unusually quite flat which I am surprised at by the recent results. Must have been one of those days I suppose.

Martins is a great player, although when I watch him he does seem to get the ball caught under his feet a little which isn’t the best, but all in all one for the future even though people want him to perform now.

I cannot believe people complaining about the team’s performance against Watford, beggers can not be choosers, a win is a win, someone stated it already but when Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool win and play poorly it’s a sign of how good they are but when other teams play bad and win it’s a disgrace and although I don’t think we have calibre to beat chelsea tomorrow, we have a fighting chance right?

I saw Martins play for Inter 3 times and they are really missing out on a player by foolishly buying players who have big names with very little show! This is a top draw player and will only get better. Which team can boast a striker with his speed, aerial ability, finishing, right and left feet used in equal measure and a clear counter attacking threat! I can think of Henry and then you are struggling for all of these attributes.
We need to look after this kid!!!

Martins is turning out to be an excellent signing, and (fingers crossed) we might see many more seasons out of him yet.

Fair report.

We are a physical team which is fair (Shittu and Mahon have been our 2 best players this season)

It was one of our better away performances but again were let down by poor finishing and your lad Martins had the class to show how it should be done.

Enjoyed the trip and St James’ Park is a very nice ground.

Thought that the atmosphere was a little flat but then maybe it was only us and nothing to get excited about.
